November Discounts - The Toccoa River - Aska Adventure Area - Hike, Fish & Relax

The 3 level home sits on the bank of the Toccoa River nestled in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest. It is one of the best locations in Blue Ridge in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area, on the "upper" Toccoa River, with over 120 ft of river frontage. The cabin has been remodeled completely keeping the character of the original home. 2000 sq ft of porches encapsulate the home with many areas to escape to read a book, watch nature, listen to the river or take a nap. There is a Chef's Kitchen with an open family room waiting to make many memories. Just off of the enclosed screen porch awaits a Green Egg and Grill to make your mountain favorites. The cabin has 2 King Bedrooms w/ensuite full baths, 1 Queen Bedroom w/ensuite full bath, 1 bunk room w/twin over full and 1 bunk room with twin over twin. All bedrooms have doors opening to the expansive porches overlooking the river and nature. There is a "Kids Cave" perfect for watching movies and playing games. The large media/game room is located on the ground level with expansive views of the Toccoa River and the outdoor patio with firepit leading to the river where you can rest on the large mountain rocks. The cabin is great for families, couple's retreats, girl's weekends and outdoor enthusiasts.

This was by far the nicest cabin we’ve ever stayed in! Every detail was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The home is incredibly high-end, yet still feels cozy and inviting. The kitchen was the most well-stocked we’ve seen—every tool, dish, and spice you could possibly need was there. Everything from the furniture to the linens to the dĂ©cor showed that this property is meticulously cared for.We loved spending mornings by the river and evenings relaxing by the fire. It’s clear the owners have put a lot of love and attention into making this a true luxury mountain getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful setting! The view , porches overlooking the river were amazing. My family of 7 loved the easy access to the river, perfect climate, large living space and kitchen. We dropped family off at big rock on the Toccoa and they floated to this place in 1&1/2 hr, got out of the river and came inside for dinner.

Our most relaxing vacation ever

Our trips are almost always a big group and this trip we had 17 people. My wife and our 3 kids (6,12,14), my wife’s sister and husband and their 3 kids (10,15,16), my in-laws and my best friend and his wife and 3 kids (16,17,20). We are a very close family and do a lot together but this trip felt so different from any trip we’ve had together before. It was so relaxing and never felt like we were being rushed. Everyone enjoyed the river being right beside the cabin. Kids were either fishing, swimming or we were hauling everyone up stream 4-5 miles to float back down to the cabin. The adults enjoyed lounging on the huge screened in porch while listening to the constant sound of the river flowing. It was so peaceful. Everyone at some point took a nap on that porch. We cooked almost every meal on the grills overlooking the river and played games and every night the kids made s’mores in the nice fire pit.The well furnished kitchen was great as well. Every morning we cooked an huge spread for breakfast and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The oversized laundry room was nice for the piles of laundry we had too. Not one person complained about any of the mattresses. I know our bed slept great. The hostess was so friendly and helpful if we had any questions or problems. We are already planning for our next adventure here. Can’t wait to come back to this cabin.

Relaxing weekend on the Toccoa River

We had a wonderful stay at River’s Edge for the Memorial weekend. The house is beautiful and so well appointed! We had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. All in our group commented on how especially comfortable the beds were. You are steps from the Toccoa River for all the fishermen in your group and there’s nothing better than the sound of the river from the porches. We hope to be back soon!

Impressive Property

Beautiful, well appointed cabin - everything was as advertised. Loved the expansive views of the Toccoa River from the porch (I could have sat there the entire weekend). This will be one of our "go-to" places to rent going forward.

Biking/hiking/tubing/relaxing

This rental has everything you could imagine and more. We were there for a casual Labor Day weekend with friends and kiddos. The house had plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 kids. Biking/hiking trails are at the base of the road to the property, and river relaxing right in front. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals the entire trip. We will definitely be staying here again next trip!

We have spent a weekend on this river for 20 years as childhood friends! I can say this has been the best yet! Host was very quick on communication and this cabin had all that you could ever need! On the River

We had a super time. The home is lovely and spacious and was perfect for what we needed. The location is quiet and nice, right on the Toccoa river. We went upstream on main road (ASKA) and tube floated back to house about 2 miles almost every day. There were no other floaters on that stretch so was like we owned the river. Also did many activities in Blue Ridge area, Helen and Cleveland Georgia.

Recharge your batteries down by the river

From the moment our group arrived at this unbelievably wonderful place I knew it was going to be just what we were looking for. The setting is amazing and the home is impeccable. Perfect location!

This house is magnificent! Very large and great to spread out with family and friends. It is right on the Taccoa River so you can walk out the front and throw in a tube. The location is only 15 min from downtown Blue Ridge, about 1.5 hours from Helen, and 30 min to Ellijay. Rafting down the Ocoee is only 50 minutes and tubing is minutes away. The house itself if very nice, clean, and the owner is extremely responsive, definitely will be staying again!
