Wonderful, 3-level cabin-style home, nicely furnished, with karaoke machine, media room, and pool table in the basement. Three decks! (Private desk off master bedroom on 2nd floor, basement deck is screen-enclosed.) Very comfortable. 4 bunk beds in the basement, so bring the kids. Owner was quick to respond to a couple of issues. Very close to lots of fun activities and Blue Ridge downtown.

Cozy & Comfortable Cabin!

This cabin exceeded our expectations during our Christmas vacation! My family of four and my sister's family of five immensely enjoyed it. Our teen kids enjoyed the pool table while the adults enjoyed adult beverages by the fire pit outside. All the beds/pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well every night. We would love to go back in the future!If there's one thing I'd say negatively, it is that the listing said there is a TV in the upstairs master bedroom. However, there was not. Overall, it is a beautiful cabin nonetheless.

Home away from home!

The listing nicely describes the cabin but it is so much better. The location is good, close to everything. The cabin is well appointed with comfortable furniture and just all about you need to make a big family meal. There is something for everyone to do at the cabin. So comfortable and little places to escape and take in the mountain air and views. Grandparents, parents, and kids all loved the place. Very cozy and just perfect!

Such a beautiful cabin, cozy porches with peaceful views, spacious inside. Convenient location close to downtown and hiking. Host was communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed our time!

Nice Family Cabin

My checkin was cumbersome to me. Some information was coming from the VRBO Site, some from emails and the lock codes was in the scrolling text box. A few tv's didn't work and had trouble locating washcloths in the master bedroom and some light bulbs burnt out in the hallway to the bunk room. Overall the cabin was as expected and beautifully decorated. Easy access to the cabin. The owner was easily accessed with our questions. We were busy with wedding activities so didn't get to enjoy all the cabin had to offer.

Girls' trip

Great place! We went for a short girls' trip over the weekend and we couldn't have been happier with this cabin! Very roomy, great amenities, warm and inviting, and excellent location. It's conveniently close to town but the cabin itself feels secluded. Great communication with the hostess. Will book again!

Family Getaway

We had a great time celebrating our son’s 18th birthday here. The home was perfect for our family. The kids took the downstairs and had a blast on karaoke and the pool table. I don’t think the tv got turned on in the 5 days we were there. Thanks again for sharing your home with us. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing home .

Christmas getaway reunion

Our family lives in all four corners of the US, and although only our eastern family were able to meet with us at this Blue Ridge cabin, I would say we could all say, we had one of the best Christmas ever!! The cabin was perfect, great location, close to necessities, yet in the mountain woods with even a lake view. Clean, well stocked, plenty of wood for fireplace that we kept going. We never ate out, but did all our cooking there. Sandra’s kitchen had everything for cooking and baking including the spices, sugar, salt, pepper, roasting pans, cookie sheets etc. Her home was nicely decorated with Christmas decor and we even had Christmas dishes for our Christmas dinner. The setup of bedrooms was excellent with the master on the top level and the kids/teenagers on the bottom next to the game room. The pool table was the biggest hit as well as coloring books and puzzles in the loft area for the littles. We all decided it was a place we could definitely come back to. You will not regret staying in this home with a personal, cozy atmosphere!

Family Get-A-Way

We planned a family trip and this property was perfect for us. The property has plenty to do and keep the children busy at night. We took advantage of the hot tub and on a cool evening it felt really good. The location is great by only being 5-7 minutes to town or to grocery store, but being far enough out where you feel secluded. The property had everything we needed. We cooked all our breakfast and dinners there. Will definitely consider this property on our next trip.

The cabin had a great layout. The game room, sauna and hot tub was a great bonus. We enjoyed the open concept on main floor with large island. The kitchen had all the cooking items. The location was perfect! We have stayed in many local cabins and this one one is a new favorite. We will definitely be back.

Cleaning terrible

We arrived to cleaning products in hallway and dirty rag on table where they had left without finishing. Floors sticky and dirty. They did bring vacuum cleaner that was empty and we cleaned and filled up the whole vacuum on just one floor. The owner was nice enough to give us 100.00 dollars back for our trouble. Wasp nest also next to driveway. House was big and was nice had to replace light bulbs. First time we have had dark water from mopping one floor and a vacuum full from second floor. We had baby and it was not good to see.
