Nestled in a canyon this wonderful hotel allows for the full desert southwest experience. The staff was extraordinary, friendly, always smiling and very efficient. The room was spacious and full of decorative items that made it feel like home. Overall one of get best stays in my many years of travel.

This was the highlight of our SW trip this summer. I highly recommend Bluff Dwellings; it would be ideal for 3 days of a honeymoon trip. We stayed two days with our son, enjoying the pool and the awesome hiking trail which was literally in our backyard. We wished we had one more day. The area has many UT attractions, but you have about 5 places to eat available. There are not grocery stores or a Walmart anywhere near, but there are restaurants that you could be happy with for a few days. This area is gorgeous and idyllic. The hotel really has everything you could want: Beautiful pool, incredible surroundings, hiking on the property, a playground on the property, outdoor fireplaces, wonderful & comfortable rooms, helpful staff. It is amazing for kids, but I don't feel like it's a kid/family hotel exclusively. I can't imagine a better place to surprise a spouse with for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. It's just a surprising oasis seemingly in the middle of nowhere.

Premier property that blends beautifully with its dramatic, natural setting. We stayed in a ground floor unit with comfortable seating around a fire pit situated a few feet from our rear deck at the foot of a cliff. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Informal, counter food service, but the pizza was delicious! Overall, 5 stars!

Waste of $ Staff is terrible. To the owners, Fyi, the link in the "post stay" text doesn't work, perhaps something to rectify. I am writing about our recent stay, night of May 11th room After an incredible day exploring we were looking forward to our stay for my birthday. Our check in was the opposite of our day, less than welcoming, to be generous. The staff did not look up, make eye contact, greet or engage us when we came in but rather presented as disinterested and put out to have to check us in. My partner and I have traveled extensively and between us couldn't come up with a time we had felt that unwelcome. We were left check in with directions to our room were unclear, had a circling the parking lot. We returned from dinner expecting to enjoy the patio and fire pit, like our neighbors were, on both sides. There was no key for the fire pit in our apt. so Jason went to inquire with reception. He was again met with indifference, lack of desire to assist, told that maintenance has to turn them on and was gone for the night. This was frustrating, and odd as both our neighbors fire pit's were on, one of them newly lit while we were at dinner. In disbelief I went to reception myself. I was told all the same and that we were supposed to request to have them turned on. I asked how we were to know this being we weren't informed of it at check in, it was posted nowhere in the room, and not mentioned in the binder. Staff ruined a special birthday and was rude as hell.
