Horrible, Dirty, Unsafe, Noisy, Uncomfortable. Avoid this place
I had a horrible experience with this property and a non-responsive property owner. I will get right to the point:
Dangerous electrical wiring for the water heater in the shower head. The wires were not grounded and this posed a serious electrocution risk. Owner claimed it was safe, but had to fix it after I showed pictures and evidence. Makes me wonder what else is unsafe in this apartment?
Dirty apartment. Grease and grime. Dirty and soiled carpets. Carpets were lose and a trip hazard. Not cleaned and maintained.
Very uncomfortable beds - felt like sleeping on plywood with a bit of Styrofoam on top.
Primary bedroom was very strange. Covered in plexiglass so very noisy when there was rain (daily occurrence) and very hot in the afternoon. Uncomfortable and not a relaxing place.
Multiple plumbing leaks. The neighbors below complained and a plumber had to come into the apartment on multiple occasions over several days. Still did not adequately fix the leaks. Very disruptive.
There was a non-functioning hot water heater for the kitchen to do dishes and laundry. The owner said it was not working and made no offer to repair it. Did not respond to this issue and ignored me. So, I washed dishes in cold water by hand. No automatic dishwasher. Laundry in cold water. Unsanitary.
The neighborhood and neighbors are very noisy. There is a rock band right next door that rehearses daily for hours - very loud and difficult to work or relax.
There are homeless people camping outside the main door of the apartment complex every day. I felt unsafe.
Avoid this place - horrible. If I could give them a 0 or negative rating, I would.
