Every detail has been carefully studied in order to combine convenience and comfort with modern design in an evocative ancient location in Bologna's city center. Bathroom completed by natural and organic products. The kitchen is accessorized with a microwave, induction cooktop and capsule coffee machine. Washing machines and driers are available for the guests in the structure.
Upon request we can equip the apartments with a germicidal purifier that allows a deep UV air disinfection to ensure high levels of hygiene. Equipped with triple filter, hepa, active carbons and optional ionizer, the purifier has a filtration efficiency of 99. 97%. Your apartment is very close to all the main points of interests of the city: Piazza Maggiore (main square), Fontana del Nettuno (historical fountain), San Petronio church and the famous Two Towers are less than a 5-minute walk. Bologna's city center can be easily visited on foot and, even if it's raining, the covered walkways (portici) extend throughout most of the city's streets and will prevent your visit to be interrupted by weather conditions. Aside from their utility for visiting the city, public means of transport like buses and trains (the train station is only a 15-minute walk from the building) make our location a strategic point for exploring every attraction of the region as well, from gastronomical tours to Ducati, Ferrari and Lamborghini museums and to visit Maserati and Ducati's factories. The Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Manzoni theater and the main shopping and fashion streets are just within walking distance. At just 300 meters from the building youâll find the best traditional restaurant of the city, "Diana", absolute king of Bolognaâs cuisine, offering a vast choice for any kind of need. How to reach us: âą By car: Design Club is located inside the restricted traffic area (ZTL). Car access is allowed only from 8PM to 7AM. The nearest garages and parking lots are - Garage Bologna, 400mt - Garage Marconi, 350mt - Via Riva Reno parking, 400mt Both the garages allow to get in Bologna Sirio Restricted Area without any permit and are open from Monday to Saturday from 6:30 AM to 1:30 AM, on Sunday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 AM. Alternatively, you can park your car in APCOA parking in Piazza VIII Agosto (⏠2.60 per hour, ⏠20.00 per day), open 24/7, about 650mt away from the building.
âą Public means of transport - From the airport, the BLQ shuttle will take you until Via dei Mille in Bolognaâs center, 650 meters away from our apartments. You can take a taxi cab right outside the airport exit and it will cost you around ⏠20.00. - From the train station, it will take you about 15 minutes on foot, the station is 1.1km away. Or, by bus, you can take the 30 until Via Rizzoli, then walk for 300 mt. You can purchase the "Zone 1" ticket in a tobacco shop for ⏠1.50 each, or directly on the bus for ⏠2.00 each (the ticket machine is automatic and only takes coins). Alternatively, you can take a taxi outside the station (Piazza delle Medaglie dâOro) for about ⏠10-15. To reach the city fair, Bologna Fiere, the most convenient bus is the number 28, the nearest stop (200mt from the apartment) is Via Ugo Bassi.
There was no electricity at the all property outside of the room .The room lucking lighting ( bulbs and kitchen lightings were broken).Nobody reacted on complains to fix lighting or change the room .Other then that the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure .
The Design Club runs a very efficient vacation rental facility. Easy communication with the manager, easy check-in through code sent the day before arrival, very nice staff person available during the day to answer questions. Very good location about a 10 minute walk to the train station. The flat itself had a great bathroom and kitchen area. It was somewhat dark, however, and the lighting was not very good for reading, my only complaint.
Although it's 2-3 blocks away from the main street and square, this apartment was beautifully furnished and an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Very modern and NEW with great attention to detail and traveler's comfort. Excellent.
