Second visit at the Graystone Lodge while moving my son into college. Great accommodations and the staff go above and beyond. This WILL be the only hotel we stay at when visiting our son at App State.

Wonderful stay

Hotel was conveniently located to all the attractions. The hotel inside and the grounds outside were very well maintained. I wish there was a hot tub but the pool was heated enough that even I could get in the water. All of the staff were super friendly. Check-in and check-out process was very easy. The cookies at the front desk were a hit with my daughter. There's no view of anything because of where the hotel is located so it was suggested I choose a room on the backside of the hotel so it would be more quiet. The breakfast had an amazing selection of food. I liked that the parking spots were large and not just meant for compact cars. The 24hr coffee bar was a plus. The only one negative I'll mention is that the beds were a little hard. I highly reccomend this hotel and I will definately stay here again.

Good, quality has gone downhill since last summer

This was our second time staying at this property. The location is great and overall everything was good. I did notice the cleanliness wasn’t as good as when we stayed before- meaning it was clean on the surface but when you looked closer the corners of the bathrooms were grimy, dirty handprints on the walls and things like that. The food at breakfast was really great, a large selection and some speciality items. BUT there were 3 dogs in the eating area, including one jumping on the table. As someone who travelled without my pet, I didn’t want to have someone else’s pet germs where I was eating. Overall this hotel was good but we may look elsewhere for our next stay.

The staff is super friendly. The little store in the lobby conveniently sells drinks including beer and wine. We grabbed a couple of drinks and sat out by the fire pit. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Very nice, newly rooms.
