They put us in the annex building. This was fine except our shower did not work at all. They said they didn't have any more rooms to put us in until the next day. We had to walk to the main building and take a shower in the gym room. Needless to say, my wife and 2 daughters were not happy. I feel like they should not have charged us for the first night since we didn't have basic sanitation.

The hotel was lovely and clean and our suite was very spacious. The problem was the noise coming from the heating system. As soon as we walked into the room we could hear a noise that sounded like a washing machine running coming from a locked cupboard right next to the bed. My husband went and spoke to the manager who told him the noise was the heating system and that all of the rooms were the same so we couldn't even move. We had to put up with that noise all night long so we did not sleep very well at all. We had to have the tv volume up to 100 in order to hear it. Would not recommend staying here if you want a nice peaceful sleep. Its a shame because otherwise the hotel would have been perfect as its in a great location.

We stayed at the Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock, NC for a three-day vacation. The room itself was okay and met basic expectations, but there were a few issues that impacted our stay. The shower never had hot water and the water pressure from the shower head was very low. In addition, the walls seemed quite thin — we could hear almost everything going on in the rooms around us, which made it difficult to fully relax. On the positive side, the hotel staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. The location is also convenient for visiting Blowing Rock. With improvements to the water issues and soundproofing, this could be a more comfortable place to stay.

Wifi didn’t work and we had to be moved to a different room. Due to booking through hotels.com we couldn’t get a refund since our room was downgraded. Staff was so nice, but we were not a fan of the hotel. You could hear everything!!!!!!

We booked a room with a private pool for our family for New Years Eve and we had nothing but problems. For such an expensive room we hoped for better. The in room pool was freezing. Maybe that’s on me for thinking it would be heated more than it was. But it wasn’t really useable. So we hoped we could use the jacuzzi tub or at the very least a hot shower, the whole time we were there - we had no hot water. As a family of 4 needing to shower after skiing all day, hot showers should’ve been the most simple task. Not only that, the room was freezing. The balcony doors had no weather sealing under them and cold air blew in the room making it hard to get warm. The next morning we hoped to brush teeth and shower, but not only was hot water still not there, the water was brown. Terrible experience. Find somewhere else to stay

Charming inn - walkable to shops, restaurants and at least one hiking trail. Parking is easy. Our room was spacious. Pool was warm and great for swimming laps or playing with kids. Only negative was the loud heater in the restaurant.

We booked a suite and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well appointed our room was. New, modern furniture, very comfortable with a coffee maker and microwave. The only disappointment was the bathroom which was small and dated with peeling paint.
