A bit of history:





The "Promenade de Tourny" was quickly lined with new houses, exclusively on the south side from 1746. A strict regulation imposed the alignment and limited the height to one level of attic above the floor, so that from the Château Trompette, one could shoot at the city in case of riot!


In the 19th century, under the pressure of the owners, the municipality authorized the elevation. There are now Haussmannian buildings whose decoration preserve the Louis XV style.

Perfect stay in old Bordeaux

Delightful apartment on Allay de Tourny. Short walk to Grand Theatre and tram stop that takes you to all the highlights. Grocery store around the corner. Several excellent brasseries nearby. Amazing Location

This property is at an amazing location, cannot ask for more convenience and accessibility. The big issue we had was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, in particular the shower curtain in the main bathroom. Overall, with a little more care to the cleaning this would be a 5 star property and it served my family fine during our stay.

My husband and I stayed for 9 nights. Property is 5 stars in location. 3 minute walk to the tram stop that multiple lines stop at. Around the corner is a grocery store, butcher shop, cheese shop, wine shop and fruit and vegetable market. We cooked a few nights. We were able to make it work with what was outfitted in the kitchen. We would have liked directions in english for how to use the stove, oven, washer and dryer. We figured it out, our only concern was that we did not want to damage anything. The property was quiet for being on a popular street and the building is secure. Plenty of dining options in the area. We would stay again.

The location of the apartment is first class, in the affluent centre of the city with easy access to the trams, buses, shops, attractions and restaurants. The apartment is on the 4th floor but the lift made life easy for suitcases. I would recommend the apartment for visiting Bordeaux and the surrounding attractions but it is really only suitable for 4 adults and not 5, as advertised. There is no 5th bed for sleeping and the fold up chair available is not suitable. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped and communication was excellent. Thank you. :)

Very spacious layout and amazing location!

Very spacious apartment, such a relief since we were coming from a tiny hotel in Paris! Also amazing location, located super close to tons of restaurants and shopping, also close to tram stop if you want to travel a little further away. Only drawback is that if you want to take a shower, you'll have to hold the shower head - it's not the type that is fixed to the wall. Not the end of the world, just a heads up if you aren't used to that. ALSO - we found a hidden gem via a flyer in the entryway, there is a Wine/Beer spa on the bottom floor of the building. My wife and I decided on a whim to go float in bathtubs of wine, while also drinking wine and having a charcuterie board - very relaxing experience and super convenient, just had to take the elevator from this spot directly down there!

Good location

It was a great location. The apartment was basic but very comfortable and good. The second bathroom has a very short shower which was fine for my three kids but an adult would have trouble standing. The check in process was great but when we had difficulty getting the door open in the evening (very old door and was very hard to open) no one answered the number we called. The apartment could use more than 2 coffee cups but had a full set of everything else. They were very nice to have laundry detergent and soap for us to use. The refridgerator was definitely too cold (froze our oranges) but hopefully they fixed that.

L'emplacement est idéal, sécuritaire et très paisible. L'appartement est vaste permettant à chacun de trouver le confort requis. Il serait utile d'ajouter des prises de courant dans la cuisinette afin d'éviter le branchement et débranchement de la cafetière et du grille pain. Les lits sont très confortables. Le nettoyage plus fréquent des climatiseurs seraient nécessaires. L'approvisionnement en papier de toilette et papier mouchoir à penser. Accès à un stationnement est un gros plus. Je recommande fortement à tout voyageur souhaitant un accès à pieds à Bordeaux.

Wunderbarer Kurzurlaub Bordeaux

Das Appartement war sehr schön. Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer sauber, Wohnbereich und Küche ok. Wichtig zu wissen, dass sich das WC für den oberen Schlafbereich (Galerie zum Wohnbereich) unten neben der Küche befindet. Parken kann man nach der Übergabe mit einer Einfahrt/Ausfahrtkarte in der benachbarten Tiefgarage. Wir waren etwas früher da und haben ein Ticket gezogen, was Jacobo perfekt gemanagt hat, die Mitarbeiter der TG sind sehr freundlich. Die Lage des Appartements ist perfekt, man kann vieles fussläufig erreichen. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden uns jederzeit wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Betreuung und die vielen Tips an Jacobo!

Fantastic location

El apartamento está en un lugar excelente porque está cerca de todo y cerca del tram y buses. Puedes caminar y encontrar buenos restaurantes y supermercados. La comunicación con Jacobo muy buena ya que me respondía a mis preguntas y nos fue a encontrar cuando llegamos. El fue muy amable y nos explicó todo lo del depto y nos dio un mapa donde nos sugirió restaurantes y lugares turísticos. El apartamento estaba limpio y es muy amplio. Lo único que les sugiero es que cambien la cortina del baño principal que tiene mojo. El baño de arriba es bien pequeñito para adultos, no puedes ducharte parado, es muy incómodo. El otro baño tiene una tina bien alta que si eres mayor de edad, no podrías entrar. Deben modernizar los baños. Aparte de eso, todo está bien en el depto. Lo pasamos muy bien.

Confortable, pratique et agréable

Nous avons un séjour de 5 nuits à cet appartement. Il est parfaitement situé pour explorer tous les coins de Bordeaux même à pied dans le centre ville sans compter le tram à proximité. La carte d’accès au stationnement Tourny est un plus. L’appartement est très bien meublé dans un édifice ancien. La rénovation a été bien faite et la décoration est de bon goût. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle et permet facilement de faire ses propres repas. L’appartement est très tranquille même s’il est près des grands axes routiers. L’agence a bien répondu à nos questions et besoins. Aucune hésitation à recommander cette location.
