The property was close to a tram stop and within walking distance of a few shops, bars and restaurants. As a family we enjoyed our stay overall. Host was excellent and responded to any queries quickly. The negatives are the house, especially the upstairs bedrooms become unbearably hot, there are electric fans but with no air-conditioning or ceiling fans sleeping was very uncomfortable. The pool was a welcome necessity but during our week long stay it wasn't cleaned. Mosquitos were problematic so repellent is a must. We found it strange that there were no toilets upstairs, just showers and sinks, annoying in the middle of the night! It's a lived in house, a family home so be aware of that. On arrival there was a wet used towel on one of the bathroom floors, overall it was generally clean but not immaculate. We loved Bordeaux and the surrounding area.

The property itself was a home from home. It was both well stocked and clean. A few cleaning supplies were offered by the host which was helpful. A few of the areas of improvement: the fridge freezer was leaking quite a lot when we arrived, perhaps it had just been turned on? The surround of the pool was pretty dangerous with uneven decking. A trip hazard which is waiting for someone to hurt themselves - or fall in the pool. The concrete floor outside got very slippery when people had been in the pool but thankfully noone was injured. Lastly, the rugs are pretty slippery in the house but we just rolled them up and put them out of the way for us. The key system meant we had to stay together as a group rather than come and go as we pleased. Not a bother for us and our stay, but some families may find this a problem. All of the mosquito devices didn't work for us and this was something that I had not thought about ahead of our trip. Bring insect repellent! Highlights: The location is just outside of Bordeaux city centre. A close 10 minutes walkto the tram lines, supermarket and bakery and it was both quiet and private. The pool was refreshing in the hotter weather and the rooms were nice and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. The lady who met us was so welcoming and friendly although she did not own the house, she was brilliant. Thanks for all the local tips and knowledge.I realise there are a few negatives here but it was a lovely house, just what we needed to explore Bord

A lovely host (Stephanie) and a beautiful house. It has lots of positives, especially the security of the property and the pool.Only a few development points, which could be to give the property a really good clean. It wasn’t dirty, just not immaculately clean. There are also a couple of the decking boards around the pool which need attention.Check in was easy and we arrived late so Stephanie was very flexible. Overall, we loved the property.

schön eingerichtete Wohnung, wie auf den Bildern. Alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Aufgrund der großen Hitze haben wir lediglich eine Klimaanlage vermisst. Dafür haben wir den Pool genossen und die gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn. Eine kleine Oase in der Stadt.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und nett!
