DEPOSIT

A bank imprint of €750 will be requested as part of the rental. In the form of a payment link and managed by the secure online service Swikly, it is compulsory and must be made before entering the accommodation. The amount is not blocked or debited and does not affect the maximum amount you can use your credit card. You will only have to pay a service fee of €9,21.
Within 7 days of your departure, and subject to compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the return of the property in perfect condition, this operation is automatically cancelled.

One of our receptionists will contact you the day prior to your arrival to organise your check-in.
Arrivals are normally from 4 pm to 8:30 pm, it is however possible to arrive later, on request, with an extra charge of €15 per extra hour.


THE AREA

From Mérignac Airport:
Take tram A or bus 1 from the Mérignac Airport stop to the Gambetta Mériadeck stop and walk 7 minutes.

From the Saint Jean train station:
Take tramway line C or D from the Gare Saint Jean stop to the Place de la Bourse stop and walk 7 minutes.

The apartment does not have a parking lot.
The public parking "Pey-Berland - Saint Christoly" is located 400 meters from the apartment.
Parking on the street is free only from 7 pm to 9 am and on Sundays and holidays.
The price for parking is €19 for 24 hours.

Decide for yourself after seeing pros and cons

I am trying to be very honest about our stay because some of the things that bothered me, won't be a problem for other people. Keep in mind we were traveling with two children, a 5yo, and a 2yo so this definitely impacted our experience.Pros:The apartment is in a good location, several things to do within walking distance (restaurants, shopping, park, pharmacy).Apartment is spacious for a familyApartment has all the basics for a nice stay - Kitchen is equipped, bathrooms are stocked, etc.Pack and Play was provided for my daughterThere is a washing machine, although no dryer as mentioned in the description, only a drying rack.Cons:It is located in a pedestrian street which means we could not park in front and unload the car before taking car to parking lot. We had to park and drag our luggage, kids/big stroller in order to get to the apartment.No elevator (we knew this from listing), but I found that there are more stairs than I expected. If you have no small children and/or are traveling light, this is not a big deal, but for us it was a lot.A few times, the apartment would smell like something rotten! It seemed to be coming out of the hallway bathroom. I saw this mentioned in a review after the fact, which makes me think owners are aware and haven't fixed it.Upstairs neighbors talking loudly at all hours. I woke up several times at night with people talking/fighting, not sure.So you can decide if these are issues for your or not.

Beautiful Flat in a Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious, light-filled apartment. Everything was clean and in excellent condition, and the modern kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped. Location could not be better - in the pedestrian area near the opera house, and many restaurants. It was a 5-minute walk to get groceries. Communication with the property manager, Lucie, was very easy, and she assisted us with several special requests/arrangements. We would recommend the flat for adult couples -- our party of 4 was the perfect size for this. The flat can sleep 6, but we enjoyed having room to spread out. As others have mentioned, there are 3 flights of steps to access the flat, so this is not the best choice for those who would find that difficult. However, the light and view from a corner of the pedestrian area make the climb worth while!
