Cocoonr offers you this beautiful four-person apartment for rent, located on the second floor of a stone building. Le Nid Bleu is ideally located in the heart of Bordeaux, in the St Michel district, a stone's throw from Old Bordeaux and Rue Sainte Catherine (Europe's longest shopping street), Place Saint-Michel and all the cultural attractions.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped, so all you have to do is put your suitcases down and enjoy all the comforts of home, for an unforgettable stay in the heart of Bordeaux.

Please note that this accommodation is only available for medium-term stays (minimum 30 nights).

Le Nid bleu is composed as follows:
- A bright living room with sofa, coffee table and flat-screen TV,
- A dining area
- A fully-equipped open-plan kitchen: fridge, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and conventional oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and numerous utensils.
- A quiet master suite with en-suite shower room and WC

A little history
In days gone by, the Saint-Michel district was home to craftsmen. They unloaded the flat-bottomed barges at anchor from the departments upstream on the Garonne, which supplied Bordeaux with goods (such as salt) and building materials. To build the Basilica, we needed wood (for the framework), which came from the Quercy region, and iron for the coopers, gunsmiths, wrought-iron workers and all the rest! From this hard-working yet joyful era, the outspokenness of the sailors and the rhythm of the builders' work have left their mark. Today, the Saint-Michel district is a popular and dynamic neighborhood, inhabited by a thousand cultures and origins. Around the main square, you can sit on one of the many terraces to sunbathe or read a book, while enjoying the lively open-air Capucins market held daily on the Place des Capucins from 6am to 1pm. In Saint-Michel, there's also the Marché Neuf, held on Monday mornings on Place Canteloup and Place Meynard.
You'll be amazed by the 2 sublime buildings that stand on this immense square. First, there's the magnificent Basilica, built in the flamboyant Gothic style between the 14th and 16th centuries. Here you are in the heart of one of the city's liveliest and most colorful spots! Look up and admire the astonishing freestanding bell tower, just a few metres away. Impossible to miss, it's one of the tallest bell towers in France, its spire rising to 114m! If you're not afraid of heights and you've got good legs, it's possible to take a self-guided tour from March to October every day, without an appointment, for just €5. The view over Bordeaux is breathtaking!
If you choose to come by car you'll be able to park in the public pay parking lot “le Victor Hugo” 300m from the accommodation.

Other remarks :
- Cleaning is included in the rental price and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels). Your bed will be made up on arrival.
- Washing machine available

- Medium-sized dogs are allowed in the accommodation (under certain conditions).
- Utilities are included in the rental price (water, electricity, internet). Please note, however, that a meter reading may be taken on arrival and departure.
An inventory of fixtures may also be carried out on arrival and departure.

To comply with legislation, your reservation will require the signature of a contract (mobility lease or civil lease). To do this, we will need a few additional items (identity card, insurance, supporting documents).
Unfortunately, without the signature of a formal contract, we won't be able to give you access to the property. This does not affect the terms and conditions agreed via our website or the various rental platforms.

You'll be greeted personally on site by a Cocoonr agent in Bordeaux, who will introduce you to the property, answer your questions and hand over the keys.
