This place was just what we needed for a family to stay during memorial service for our matriarch. Sweet quiet neighborhood, 5 private bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, functional kitchen, off street parking - all good!

The VRBO rental was perfect for our family of seven. Everything was as described and the neighborhood is wonderful. The grocery store coffee shop lunch spot right around the corner. The only thing we had difficulty with was figuring out the TV but Marc did come and help us

Clean, spacious, and convenient!

Our group was three couples that stayed for a long weekend at Kitty's apt, and we're happy to report that the apt worked out PERFECTLY for us! Kitty was an excellent communicator throughout the process and all of us instantly felt at home upon arrival. Highly recommend!

Clean; comfortable; and well-equipped

Mark's place was clean; more spacious than photos showed; allows for multiple cars to park in a line; in a neighborhood very close walk to lovely Fresh Pond loop. Hard to find 5 bedroom places with full and queen beds in this area and this was perfect. Mark also went out of his way to assist at one point. Really helpful.

Perfect for family

This property was in a lovely safe neighbourhood with groceries, restaurants and parks close by. The five bedrooms were perfect for our extended family staying in Boston to attend the Marathon. Mark was very prompt to attend to any issues we had. It was an unusually hot April weekend and Mark came with an AC unit immediately to cool upper floor. We enjoyed the living space as it was very roomy. Mark was attentive and helpful. The one recommendation I would have is to leave a guest information book with maps, subway map and how to get to it and perhaps some restaurant and tourist suggestions. We will happily return if we get another qualifier in the Marathon!

To be honest or stay at this home was just OK. The price that we paid seemed very high for what we got. First of all, we arrived to find another vehicle, parked in the driveway, which we couldn’t use. It was a very warm day and the air-conditioning inside the place was shut off so it took several hours for it to get cool. The listing did not mention that the place was the second floor of a building which we had to access by climbing a narrow stairway with low ceilings. Since we were traveling with small children this would have caused us to choose another location. For the most part, the property was clean and is located in a clean and walkable neighborhood.

Great space

The property was a perfect spot for us. It had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable & the location was great! Walking distance to a grocery store (which by the way has wine, beer & liquor!), a great bakery/cafe & a delicious local restaurant. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in town for The Head of The Charles Regatta. You do have to be able to walk up steps as this is the upstairs unit of a duplex, but it is a great space

Handled all 7 of us!

Visited for 6 days for BC graduation. We used 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Nice section of Cambridge. Beds were comfortable but lacked top sheets. TV was big. Keurig coffee maker was a savior. Clean older house. Some creaky floors added to charm but may not be for everyone. Kitty and Mark are very responsive owners and we would definitely rent from them again.

Great space for friends and family

Kitty was the best host! The place has plenty of room. Great kitchen and family table. We thoroughly enjoyed the place. Close to Sofra (best Med food ever) and easy 30min walk or bus (#73) to the river and Cambridge. Wonderful!!

The house was very comfortable and roomy for our family of seven. Kitty and her husband are terrific and were very helpful to us newcomers to the Boston area. They helped make our first trip to Boston a success. I give them and their beautiful home five stars.

This home is perfect for any family to enjoy. The owners were very helpful and live just next door so if you need anything at all it was very easy to obtain. The home was extremely well maintained, and a couple block walk from star market and a few restaurants, and very close my family's home walking along fresh pond. I would highly recommend staying here for a few days or a week, whatever the time needs are.

Beautiful!!

Everything was fabulous and the owners were very accommodating! They even made us cookies! They were able to be reached by text easily. The house was beautiful as perfect for our 8 person family. The ONLY con was that if you are looking to cook, you may need to bring some supplies. We needed a cheese shredder, a cutting board, and a mixing bowl atleast. They do have pans and spatulas, and place settings for 8 however. Just plan accordingly! Overall, everything was Great!

Beautiful,clean,cozy and state of the art service from the landlord.

The house is cozy,exquisitely decorated giving you the warmth of home. I must add bedrooms are big and have heater as well as A/C . Bathrooms with shampoo ,conditioner,,body wash and hair dryer. Kitty ,the owner personally came to greet us and asked if there was anything else she could do for us. She is an amazing person that will go beyond your expectations.and definetely knows how to make a guest happy. Tte house itself is very well located. When going to Cambridge make sure this house is available! Thank you Kitty. Pamela
