Overall, the charm of this historic building is neat. We appreciated just how much of the original structure has been preserved. The architecture inside and out. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Location was convenient to the T and plenty of great walkable dining options. The small kitchen was convenient to run down and heat yo leftovers, grab morning coffee, and the in-room refrigerator was large enough to half all the take out and drinks you want. The bed was oh so comfortable!!!! I’m buying a pillow for home. The downside, only 1 working elevator; often took forever. There was mildew under the rim of the toilet. There was a constant drip from the faucet in the tub. Not much shower pressure. When it rained hard, water came through the bottom seal on the window. We would stay here, again, however.

Toilet paper holder wouldn’t stay up and roll kept sliding off.

Foul Odor in room (smoking or mildew). Management seemed annoyed that I had brought this to their attention. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Customer service refresher is in order. Elevator is outdated and does not work properly. It takes a very long time to come after pressing the button numerous times.
