How close is Perfect location Sleeps 3 to the airport?
This apartment is 5.3 mi (17-min drive) away from the Boston, MA (BNH-Boston Harbor Seaplane Base) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
This place was pretty bare bones. Easy access and good communication from the owner, but definitely a less nice place than the pictures led me to believe. Based on decor and window vs porch door differences, several of the pics were not from the unit I stayed in. The room was darker and danker than the images showed. The furniture was older and more beat up looking. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor with each use. The sound of the highway across Cortes ave was very loud (this was mentioned in several reviews, so not a surprise) and woke me up early each day. The blinds were old and blocked absolutely no light, so the room was completely sunlit by 6 AM (so don't plan on sleeping in). Possibly the most frustrating aspect of the room was the heater/ac unit. It was very loud when in use, then stopped working the second night we were there. In fairness to the owner, we got a quick response on how to fix it, but having to drain the unit and seeing the filth that came out of the drain and smelling the stench the drainage left in the room was just too much. We stopped staying in the room after the first 2 nights of our planned 6. The positives of the room are the price, the mattresses (actually reasonably comfortable), and proximity to most downtown areas in Boston. If you're looking for a bare bones bed to sleep in and are able to sleep through any condition, this place would be fine. Myself, I'll be paying a little more for the Courtyard or similar next time.
Location was great. Communication was top notch. Place was small. Bathroom was small and shower not great. 3 flights up - not for the weak. Bed was comfy.
Location was probably the best thing about this property. Whereas it was clean overall, the room may need some minor repair. The thing that didnât add comfort to the stay was the noise (the windows are facing a highway and a commuter rail), so the noise does get through the windows. Also, be prepared that the a/c unit can be noisy as well. Other than that, the place is great.
A great location, convenient to all the places we needed to go! It was a little tight for 3 adults but we made it work since we weren't there but to sleep. The shower was hot and the A/C kept it cool and drowned out the street noise. They could use a luggage rack in the closet as all our stuff was laid out on the floor or table. Also, replace all the cheap broken hooks with something more sturdy so we can hang towels. Would stay again if we went back to Boston.
Where do I start? Iâll start with the positivesâŠlocation is great for walking to Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Newbury Street, Boston LibraryâŠrestaurants and shopping are easily accessible. Negatives..unit 41 is on the 4th floor. No elevator, no AC and the staircase is narrow, steep and dark. The only AC in the room is a portable unit. When we arrived it was not working. Thankfully they came to fix it quickly. The fold out couch needs replacing. Shower floods because thereâs no liner. Building is old and unit was poorly remodeled. If you bring a car, park at your own risk. There is parking on the street that says itâs reserved for Bay Hills/permit required, but they donât give you the permit and youâre staying in Bay Hills. You can park in paid parking for about $50/day if you can find it. Overall, we slept okay and the room was cool when we woke up. We left as soon as we could and we wonât be back. Management was helpful, but you can tell this wasnât their first complaint on this property. Itâs not advertised like it really presents and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Cute unit - managers were available to help with any questions - our unit was on the 4th floor and no elevator, but there are units on the other floors if stairs are an issue
This was a horrible run down building that was filthy. It was furnished with very worn second hand furniture in need of repair. The walls were filthy with broken command strip hooks. A real dump. We ended up sleeping in our clothes on top of the bed. We checked out the next day.
This location was exactly what we were looking for. Super close to the major sights for walking and close enough to hop on the T if needed. Great place to stay!
