Perfect place to stay
Publié le 12 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had great time to Salem. Perfect place to stay and do not need the car. Walk to down town, beaches, restaurants and Museums. Went to Boston by train. Ideal for family and everybody have their own bedrooms. The kitchens is ok.

Last minute about limited parking. We were going to have my daughter join us but I told her not to come because there was absolutely no where to park without having to walk a few blocks or so. General area was a little sketchy also the bed sheets were dirty there was dark hair in it. I was really grossed out by this. I accidentally spilled a little water and went to wipe it up with paper towels and although floor didn’t look filthy the paper towel was black

Never would stay again. Misleading photos led us to believe there were 3 separate queens, when there was 2 queens and twins. Rude host who after providing my payment info to expedia/VRBO demanded i either email him my credit card number or venmo him for the cost of the stay. Mentioned cameras on property multiple times in correspondence so we felt we were being watched. The apartment itself is a finished attic, not up to building codes. Do not stay with small children, as there are large windows, close to the floor with no screens. "Shower curtain" was a dollar store plastic table covering with holes punched in it. Doors didnt close, pipes were not vented so any plumbing gurgled loudly for quite some time after use. Beds were hard as rock, and sheets smelled used, like dirty hair. Location was awful- did not feel safe with neighbors yelling at us as we walked by, with lots of yelling and car honks at all hours of night. Smoke detector beeped all night saying the battery was dead, which led to no sleep. All concerns and complaints brought to host with no apology.

Publié le 16 oct. 2018 sur HomeAwaythis place is true to the description. The bedrooms are fine, the kitchen is ok but there is no "living room". This was not really an issue with us as we were only there to sleep at night. So we have no complaints about it. The parking is tricky as its hard to find space on the street and the assigned spot is a tight fit. But again none of this is insurmountable. The place is walking distance to a ton of places to eat etc. This was our second time renting this place and I would do it again given the chance. The place is clean and the logistics were easy.

Nice Accomdation, Shady area
Publié le 17 août 2018 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was nice, clean and worked for our stay but the area is not in a good part of town. Parking was extremely hard to find, people were out yelling all night (on weekdays), and I wouldn't bring my kids to that area, even during the day.
Other than that it was an ok stay with good communication with the host.
