We were there for girls weekend. We had a wonderful time so peaceful. The horses were fun to feed. It was truly like being in the country.I think one truck went down the road all weekend. We did not turn on the television once lol. It is a great place to unplug and relax.The scenery is beautiful.

They have thought of everything. Fire pit with everything you need, music, fishing, and access to feed the animals. Weather you are looking for a quite stay in the country or a trip into Hermann this place is perfect! Host is available and willing to go above and beyond! I can not say good enough things about the happy memories that this place allowed us to make.

Beautiful views and a super cozy cabin! Plenty to do even though we chose to be lazy the entire time and didn’t take advantage of the opportunity. The hosts were friendly and reached out to give us a heads up about possible road construction delays. We would love to return again and really enjoy the ponds and land.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Cabin! We were greeted by the friendly farm animals upon arrival. :) The hosts were very proactive in communication. Equipped with everything you could need in a peaceful location and prime access to Hermann, we will definitely be staying here again soon!

Two of the four days the septic smell was bad enough to burn eyes and nose. Kept company by a ton of dead and dying ladybugs with a few flies thrown in. The beds were very uncomfortable. On the bright side the place was cute, with a nicely decorated Christmas tree

The cabin was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed feeding the animals and sitting by the fire pit. We were there for our son’s wedding at Little Piney Lodge and it was an easy travel distance to the venue and a great place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay ther again if we were in the area.

Charming and clean. It was so very nice to be able to give the kids a place to play and relax instead of trying to manage it all in a hotel room. I also appreciate that there was wood pile available for a fire and charcoal there for the grill instead of having to find those things.

We absolutely loved my stay at this property! It was a perfect blend of relaxation and activity, with so much to do right on-site. We found plenty of ways to unwind while also enjoying various activities. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to escape the daily grind. The owners are great people. It was our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate with.

Great property

This property was a great extended weekend getaway. Exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, remote but easily accessible, and had many opportunities to enjoy the variety of animals and walking trails in the woods. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed talking with them and learning a little about the area. We used the cabin as a base for various sections of the Katy Trail. This allowed us to have access to several different trailheads within about a half hour drive. Would highly recommend this place!
