Great stay with grandkids

Our grandkids live here now and we visit twice a year. This location was 10 minutes away from their school so it was super convenient to have sleepovers and then take them to school the following morning. Also the clubhouse has 2 swimming pools, pickleball court , and lots of other amenities the kids used. Our host responded promptly to any issues we had. The condo can use a little TLC but the king bed was very comfortable and the price reflects the dated decor.

Improvements needed

Our stay was just okay. There were several unexpected difficulties. Listed below:* more details were needed to use the washer & dryer and the TV* the TV caused a lot of aggravation- we could not stream anything and spent a lot of time trying to correct that. Half way through our stay a person came and installed a Roku to fix that problem * the sound was awful on the TV . Was told after the fact that speaker was blown and to use the soundbar. Never was able to get the soundbar working.*there was no screen on the sliding glass door- we opened it when nice out but bugs came in* the toilet in the master bath needed repair. It didn’t flush correctly and ran and ran* the owner lived overseas, he did respond by text but we needed a contact person to contact locally and didn’t have that* The unit was on the second level but that was not mentioned. We had trouble with the two flights of stairs & imagine some people would not be able to use the stairs.. no elevator With correction the unit would have been far superior

Nice place and homey and comfortable

Very comfortable and homey. It sounds like the tv speaker was blown. Plus take a shower in the front bathroom and the faucet leaked and wouldn't shut off all the way but other than that we enjoyed the apartment. Would recommend

Nice location- perfect space

Great location to use as jumping off point to beaches, nature preserves (especially Robinson Preserve), museums (Ringling Bros, others), historical sites (De Soto, etc), Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and much more. Bed very comfortable, small living area, plenty of space otherwise, access to pool and tennis/pickleball courts. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
