Clean comfortable accessible

This was our 2nd stay. Very friendly staff. Made us very welcome and understood wheelchair requirements. Nice room, clean and plenty of room for a wheelchair user. Good accessible bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Hot and plenty of options. Bed was ok and only a standard double. Room was quite warm and as no option to open the window air conditioning would have been a nice option

Review of stay on 30/07/2025

Stayed here for 1 night on business in a double room on the fourth floor. The hotel was in a great location for where I needed to be. There are some entertainment venues in the immediate area if you want to eat/drink outside of the hotel. Hotel does not have onsite parking but the hotel is joined to a multi-storey car park that costs just £1.50 to park for 24 hours. From check-in to Check-out the staff were friendly and couldn’t do more for you. The areas of the hotel I visited (lobby, reception, bar, restaurant and room) were all clean and tidy. The weather was warm when I stayed and although having what seemed like an air conditioning control on the wall the room didn’t have any air conditioning however opening the window let a good breeze in and there was a small fan in the room that circulated the breeze. Given the hotel location near a busy road and with the window open all night noise was not an issue. The bed was comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities were as you would expect. TV was smaller than most but had a good variety of channels. I couldn’t find an in room safe so if you’re staying with valuables you might want to ask at reception if there is anything they can offer to keep valuables secure. The bathroom was clean and functional. For an overnight stay so close to where I needed to be for business this was a great location. Breakfast was good with a good range of cereals and a selection of cooked items to build your own cooked breakfast.

No air-conditioning

This is my forth stay i do like it however this time we went when it was hot summers day. Room was absolutely hot feels like i was in Arab country. Could not open the windows, only had a little cheap fan too cool you down was absolutely useless throwing hot air . I have stayed in lot cheaper hotel with air-conditioning as standard i think they need too invest a little in air-conditioning had sleeplessness night did not enjoyed my stay this time round i would off given excellent in stay if they did have air-conditioning. Please do not let that put you off your stay apart from that every thing was good. Would i stay again absolutely only incooler month's.

Great stay. Only niggles were no a/c and we stayed during a heatwave so I was unable to sleep. There was however desk fan but it didn’t help. Also not enough electrical points.
