Summary:
Enjoy a lakefront 2BR getaway in this lower-level unit just steps from Gull Lake. With a private patio, full kitchen, garage parking, dock access, and direct entry to the shared laundry room, this unit offers convenience, comfort, and unbeatable proximity to the water—all just three doors down from Ernie’s on Gull Lake. One garage stall and one parking lot space are included. Additional trailer, boat trailer, or RV parking may be available after booking.

The Space:
Unit 2 is a cozy, lakefront 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit spanning 828 sq ft, perfect for couples, friends, or small families. One bedroom has a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk bed, the other a full-size bed. The unit features a full kitchen with a coffee maker, living room with sofa, and all essentials including sheets, comforters, and towels.

Step outside to your private patio just 30 feet from the water. Enjoy direct, lockable access to the shared laundry room from inside the unit—convenient for longer stays.

Guests have access to the shared dock (installed for 2025), with one free tie-up space for your boat. Our 3,000 lb boat lift is also available to rent (not suitable for pontoons). Visit our website after booking for rental availability and pricing.

Guest Access:
After booking, guests will receive a keypad code to access the unit. Enter from the lakeside entrance—Unit 2 is the lower-right unit, just 30 feet from the water.

During your stay, you’ll have access to:

-One designated parking spot in the lot

-One private garage stall (second stall from the left), with a keypad code provided after booking

-Direct, private access to the shared laundry room from inside your unit

-One free boat tie-up space on the shared dock (docks are already installed for the 2025 season)

-A shared propane grill located on the first-level decks

-Optional additional trailer, boat trailer, or RV parking available (Spaces A–D), reservable after booking and subject to availability

Everything is set up to provide a smooth and seamless stay at The Point on Gull Lake.

The Neighborhood:
Our lakefront fourplex is located in a quiet residential pocket of the Gull Point neighborhood, right on the shores of Gull Lake and just three doors down from Ernie’s on Gull Lake—a popular spot for lakeside dining, live music, drinks, and volleyball. This area offers the perfect balance of peaceful relaxation and lively summer energy. During the warmer months, you’ll likely hear boat traffic on the water and occasionally music drifting from Ernie’s. Many guests enjoy the festive, vacation-style atmosphere—it’s part of what makes this area so special.

Standard parking includes one garage stall and one lot space. If you're bringing a trailer, boat trailer, or RV, a limited number of on-site parking spaces (A–D) are available for rent and can be reserved after booking. The nearest public boat launch is just minutes away at Government Point.

The neighborhood is also close to nature trails, public beaches, and downtown Brainerd, which is just a short drive away and offers coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and seasonal events. Whether you're boating, exploring, or just kicking back by the water, you'll find that Gull Point offers both serenity and access to the best of lake life.

Getting Around:
Guests staying at our lakefront fourplex have several convenient ways to explore Gull Lake and the surrounding Brainerd Lakes area.

While ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be limited in this region, we highly recommend Ole’s Shuttle Service as a dependable transportation option. Ole’s offers airport transfers and local rides to restaurants, events, and nearby towns. You can learn more or book a ride at olesshuttleservice.com.

For guests who prefer to explore on their own, we offer several on-site rental options (subject to availability):

Pontoon Rental: A weathered but reliable pontoon is available for daily rental (8 AM to 7 PM). Perfect for cruising, fishing, or visiting lakeside destinations.

E-Bike Rentals: Ride along lake roads, nearby trails, or into town with our convenient electric bikes.

Boat Lift Rental: Our 3,000 lb boat lift is suitable for most mid-sized boats (not pontoons) and available to guests or the public by reservation.

Trailer/Boat/RV Parking: A limited number of on-site parking spaces (A–D) are available to rent for trailers, boat trailers, or RVs. These must be reserved after booking and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rental pricing and availability are provided after booking and can be accessed through our guest portal or website. All rentals are first-come, first-served.

If you’re bringing your own boat, you're welcome to tie up to the dock free of charge. Each unit includes one tie-up space on our shared dock, which is already installed for the 2025 season. From there, guests enjoy direct access to the lake, nearby beaches, and local waterfront restaurants like Ernie’s on Gull Lake, just three doors down.

Whether you're biking, boating, shuttling, or walking, our location offers convenient access to everything Gull Lake has to offer.

We welcome guests with all types of plans—whether you’re here to relax, fish, golf, or gather with friends around a fire. Whatever brings you to the lake, we ask that you be respectful and considerate of other guests during your stay.

If you’re bringing a pet, please include it as an additional HUMAN guest when making your reservation, as this is how the pet fee is applied. Pets must be leashed at all times for everyone’s safety and comfort, including children, and to avoid accidents near the water.

A shared fire pit is available for guest use between the fourplex and the lake—please bring your own firewood if you plan to enjoy it.

The docks are already installed for the 2025 season. Each unit includes one free tie-up space for your boat. Feel free to dock overnight while you explore Gull Lake or visit lakeside venues like Ernie’s, just a short walk or boat ride away.

🧊 Seasonal Dock Removal Notice
Please note that dock installation and removal are weather-dependent and handled by a professional service. Typically, docks remain in place from late spring through early fall. As winter approaches and ice forms, docks are removed to preserve equipment and ensure guest safety. The exact timing may vary slightly each year.

From time to time, I may say a quick hello or be around with my family, who may also be staying on the property. My goal is to be helpful without ever being intrusive.

our 20th anniversary

The location was awesome. We felt that the place was in a state of remodeling because walls had nails in them, doors needed painting, etc. It had new furniture, celing fans and new flooring which was very nice. We also couldnt take a shower, the water pressure is very low and to go through a big shower head it doesnt do that and we know from personal experience so I would change shower head to a smaller one like we had to do. I would definitely stay here again when the remodel is done.

The place is great, right on the lake and accessible to so many area restaurants and activities. You can walk right next-door to Ernie's on Gull. The unit is spacious, clean and bright, and the hosts are communicative and prompt.

Located right in the lake. Check in was easy. Bonus to have a garage to use. Plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Pretty close to the Paul Bunyan bike trail, Brainerd, and Nisswa. Restaurant close by, although we never ate there.

We stayed late August and were pleasantly surprised. Kitchen was clean and had full sized appliances. Management was very accessible and responsive. It was very hot and humid and A/C worked well. Lake are right outside clean and beach was area was nice. Firepit had wood supplied. We would stay again.

Great location on Gull Lake!

Can't beat the location, just steps from the water and 2 doors down from Ernie's. Very comfortable beds and cozy living room with a good size TV. Kitchen is fully stocked the garage parking spot was a nice touch. Chris the Property Manager replied within minutes on any questions I had. Would love to come back and stay!

Location was perfect about 75 yards away from Eddies. A great place to eat and drink. The unit was clean and comfortable. I was able to dock a 24 foot boat with ease. Very convenient . We enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great - it was exactly what I needed. I would not label it as a "quite" get away; however the location was excellent, especially for those wanting a bit of excitement, ie: boating, Ernies, etc. When I arrived, the propane tank was empty, but that was taken care of right away. There were no dish towels or rags, this would be good to know so people know to bring their own. The microwave did not work - not a big deal for me, but might be for some. The tenant above me was smoking weed, playing guitar and singing on his deck - also not a huge deal, but somewhat distracting. Overall, it was exactly what I needed, the condo was very clean and well equipped, excellent views, location, etc. I will absolutley plan on returning in the future. Thank you!!

Beautiful view!

The real plus here is the view and access to the lake. You have great access to restaurants and and attractions around the Lakes area. The lodging isn’t a premium property and is showing its age. There were broken shades on the patio doors that limited privacy. The deck was dirty on arrival and we had to do a deep-clean of the patio table and chairs that was full of dust and pollen. The price was fair for the property. ⭐⭐⭐

Stayed for a day only but the location made this short term worth it . Clean, manager responsive.. you have to bring daily use stuff for Soap, shampoo, detergent. Since we were staying for a day it didn’t bother us as we brought our own
