The cabin itself was cozy and cute. Two days of no hot water was not appreciatedUpon arrival we were able to get a hot shower but noticed the hot water ran out quickly. The next morning we had no hot water. I called the office and was asked if I wanted someone to come out. It was as if I was asking for something special. At some point maintenance was sent out but we were never informed. When we returned Friday evening about 9 pm or so, we had hot water for about 5 minutes. We called, and once again maintenance was sent. He said the breaker had to be reset earlier in the day and it was the same problem this time. He said to wait an hour for the water to warm up and if it went out again to call in the morning. He was nice enough. At 10:30 PM we tried the water. Again we got about 5 minutes before we lost hot water again. We called Saturday morning when we got up. They said they would get someone out. We left for the morning. We ended up stopping by the office about 2 PM as we had no updates and decided we wanted to got to a show. Upon stopping at the office the gal we spoke with was nice, but couldn't give us an update. If asked what the plan was if they couldn't fix it today and she said she would either move us or find a place for us to shower. We purchased our tickets, went back to the cabin. Turns out the hot water was fixed but that point and thankfully we were able to take a full shower. I don't try to get free stuff, but no compensation or apologies were offered

The cabin was lovely. It is not as quiet as advertised. We were next to a family and the proximity of the other cabins with families made for loud, late nights. I’d ask for a cabin next to other couples not a family.

Overall was good. Update the living room furniture needs to be done. Very uncomfortable sofa and chair. Blanket for sofa bed was super scratchy. Only used it for throw on sofa.Staff at office was awesome. Would stay there again.Staff at office was amazing.

First timers

We opted for the intimate, open floor plan of the King bed which suited us swimmingly. The weather still offered the ability to enjoy snuggling in front of the fireplace. The kitchen supplied most things for making a decent range of foodstuffs. Other than the cleaner swiping my vodka from the freezer, it was a lovely stay.

Anniversary Trip

The property was "okay" - sofa and chair were old and saggy. There were no street lights in the area - not easy to get to our cabin. To go from the check-in lodge to our cabin required crossing I76 - there is no light and the traffic was very heavy in both directions. Check in time is 4:00 PM - explaining heavy traffic. Very difficult!!! We ended up leaving three nights before our paid check in date.

Stay was great! The furniture for the cabin needs to be replaced though.

We have stayed in the Green Mountain Cabins several times. Having Thousand Hills golf Resort take over the management is a big plus. The only draw back this time was that the furniture in Cabin 125 needed to be updated or replaced. Particularly the sofa, as the cushions were completely worn out. The bed was good though!

Unit cabin number 211

Location was excellent, bed, size of unit, supplies was overall good. My daughter and I did some cleaning as we are in the field of cleaning for clients. We cleaned the registers and what cobwebs we could reach, ran the sweeper, dusted and scrubbed the floors. I would have shampooed the carpets if I could have. The sweeper was brand new and that was great also. We would stay again and plan to make this an annual mother daughter trip. Hope to see you next year.
