Lazy River is CLOSED

The lazy river was shut down and we were not told about it prior to booking. We were looking forward to the lazy river because we had an infant and it would have been easier with him. We are very disappointed with the lack of communication regarding this.

Clean, surprisingly quiet, and comfy beds! The attendant that checked me in was quite rude, but all other staff I encountered were amazing - From the cook, to the front desk, to the housekeeping. You could literally hear the pride in this establishment, in their voices and stories. I will definitely return!

Nice hotel, but lots of misinformation

The hotel rooms themselves were pretty nice. We found the beds to be extremely comfy, and we found that the hotel was easy to maneuver. However, we were unaware that when we booked our tickets through hotels.com that it did not include access to the waterpark. So make sure if you are booking this hotel through this app you understand that it’s an extra $20 a day per person to get into the waterpark.

Staff were absolutely amazing in everyway. The waterpark was awesome. Rooms were clean and kept up. Staff brought towels up to my room when needed. Everyone was helpful. Absolutely amazing experience. I will come back.

A bit underwhelming

Mostly likely won’t book here again. The rooms were clean, but a bit dated. The kids enjoyed the water park and we enjoyed not having to worry so much about the pools being too deep. Lazy river was closed off which was kind of a bummer. We did get an email automated message from the hotel on the morning of checkout saying they were doing renovations, so that would’ve been nice to know before hand. We booked through a third party so it needs to be said that those sites need to be updated to let customers know the Waterpark cost is not included in the rates, which is crazy anyway because it’s literally in the name of the hotel, but I digress. Breakfast wasn’t great although the staff was super friendly. Everything was cold despite being in the buffet warmer area. Cleanliness and staff were pretty much the only thing worth giving a good review over. Not a terrible visit but so, so much room for improvement.

It was great but you can’t use the Waterpark if you booked through Expedia you have to buy tickets I hope Expedia can put that in the description for next time clean rooms and good breakfast

We booked thru Expedia and NO where on there did it say no waterpark access and when we checked in I asked about the wristbands and they said since we booked thru Expedia the park wasn't included. We then contacted expedia and they said it was under a link which I went back and looked and there was no such wording. This was part of a miscommunication.

Everything was great!! Comfy clean beds. Bunk beds were great addition. The outdoor pools are kids pools which were great for my small kids. I bought off Expedia so the water park was not included but we figured that when booking. The waterpark looks great and can’t wait to come back and experience it!

The waterpark/hotel was previously castlerock. Castlerock had some issues within that I left a bad review for. The new management seems to be doing well needed changes. The arcade was much bigger and had changes on the way. The Waterpark, even though the lazy river was down, was just the right size and clean as could be. The front desk staff was amazing. Will probably be returning back as the new changes are underway.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet is good, lots of options. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. My ONLY complaint is that our bed was not very comfy, but, thats becsue its a pretty firm mattress and thats just not to my own liking.
