Our Experience

So let me start off with, we went into this hoping for the best because it only had two ratings at 5 stars. It wasn’t a terrible price for the amount of space and what we were looking for. That was our mistake I guess. First, we got in at 4pm which was check in time, and we weren’t able to get into our room until around 4:15 because the code we received didn’t work. We then proceeded to walk into a rental that had not been touched since the people before us stayed in it. In about 5-10 minutes the cleaning crew came to our door and said that, in short: they were sorry they hadn’t gotten a chance to do it yet, because a few people didn’t show at work. The crew smelled of smoke and marijuana. They were nice though. So we ended up leaving and just coming back later. Once we got back we noticed, many sheets with rips and holes, ants, a leaking shower, sticky surfaces, random hair on supposedly clean sheets. The pullout bed is almost impossible to sleep on. My grandson’s friend got bit by a bug in the middle of the night. It honestly just didn’t feel clean, and that’s why I am leaving this review, it was not worth the price at all. This should be maintained much better for around 200+ a night with fees included.

Good location, maintenance & housekeeping issues

Good location next to Silver Dollar City. Nice to have a pool, short walk to the lake. Some cleaning issues and maintenance concerns, but those were shared with management. If addressed properly, this will be a great rental, especially if you are going to SDC.

Eagle Nest Stay

The location and views of this area is beautiful. Overall the trip was good but we had quite a few hiccups. We spent thirty minutes trying to get the code to work when we first arrived. The company was finally able to give us a four digit code instead of the original nine. The condo is nice but it was not as clean as I have come to expect from VRBO listings. The bathtubs and toilets were very dirty. We had to clean them before using. The AC did quit working on one of our days. They eventually were able to fix it about 10 pm that evening. The person who fixed it was busy most that day which is why it took so long. I usually don't leave these types of reviews but with the way the condo was I wanted to share our experience.

Great place for family stay. Convenient location near Silver dollar city and secluded lake access for swimming, fishing. Definitely recommend it.
