We should have been warned that the property is undergoing renovation and maybe offered a reduced price since there was no access to the pool and floors and carpet in the public areas was dusty. Otherwise I was most impressed with the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast provided by Maryann..a woman who obviously takes a lot of pride in what she offers to people and offers hospitality to everyone who enters the breakfast room. It is interesting that the property is just off of a very busy noisy highway; but there was no noise inside so they had done a good job of blocking it. The AC system could use some work..tough to keep at an even temperature.

Terrible service and construction work

Front of the house staff clearly do not have any sense of customer service. Due to an issue with the hotel software, it took 40 minutes for the receptionist to check us in and give us the room. Never apologized or tried to make our wait better. Receptionist the day after wasn't more welcoming. The hotel is currently being renovated so it feels like sleeping on a construction site

The staff had a new system that no one understood. They scanned my credit card and then advised me that they made a mistake and should not have charged my card for the room because I had paid through Expedia. The second floor was being renovated and there was active painting going on and dry wall dust everywhere. They agreed to give us another room but the toilet wouldn’t flush so we asked for another room but none were available so the next morning we were forced to check out but we could not get a refund! I deserve a full refund

A smaller Holiday Inn than what I'm accustomed to but it all worked out. Staff was friendly & welcoming. Easy parking & restaurant was near by. Will come again to see the new renovations!
