It’s just a five-minute walk from the Quicksilver lift and ski school at the Breckenridge Peak 9 base area – or jump on the free shuttle bus that stops a half-block away. You’ll also enjoy access to the Columbine outdoor heated pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs just a short walk from the complex. This Tamarisk condo is a great choice for you and your group!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo works perfectly for families or groups of up to eight people. The living area features a gas fireplace and a flat-screen Smart TV for catching the game or the morning snow report. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, too. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless-steel appliances and all the gear you’ll need to keep the troops happy and fed — that is, when you’re not strolling to Main Street (two blocks away) to sample Breck’s numerous culinary delights. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is a great location. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Quicksilver lift. We have a five year old and my wife and I take turns riding so this is pretty much ski in ski out. The hot tub and pool set up is what brought us back to this area. Four big hot tubs and a big heated pool. Best hot tubs in Breck in my opinion. This unit is smaller and more dated than we are use to renting. But it still got the job done. The price reflects what you get so overall a good deal. Would stay here again. We stayed for three weeks.

Great stay!

With cabin style units they can get cramped but this place had just enough breathing room for the family that I wouldn’t mind going back for another stay. Very cozy for many occasions but we visited to be out and about in the town!

Close to the mountain and the town. Furniture is dated, kitchen supplies were not in a good condition. Hot tub requires walk to a neighboring complex.

Breck Trip - December 2024

Stayed here with my wife and two adult children for 5 nights. Unit was clean and mid century decor was charming. Location was good for anyone using Peak 9 or Ski school. Morning view out of the living room is wonderful. What was disappointing is that prior reviews listed some of the same deficiencies we also experienced. Uncomfortable couch for watching television, double bed mattress needs to be changed. Kitchen cookware (pots and pans) is limited and in poor condition. No toaster in the kitchen, microwave worked sporadically and cooking light above the stove dangled out of its sockets making it difficult to cook. A few other handful of maintenance items that should also be addresses. Overall the positives outweighed the negatives. With just a little effort these items can be taken care of - to make the next renters stay absolutely perfect.

Good skiing despite bad accommodations

The thermostats seemed to have a mind of their own. Set it on 70 and in the morning the room would be 62. There were only 4 spoons and 5 forks available and the pots and pans need replacement. Of the two skillets one had deformed and the center was popped up causing anything to run to the edges. The fireplace had a toggle switch but one had to keep switching it off and on in hopes it would light. The dishwasher was not attached to the counter so when one of the racks was pulled out the dishwasher would come out of the counter as if it was going to fall onto the floor. The icemaker was broken so we had to buy ice. From Monday until Thursday each morning at 730 a crew would show up in the unit above us and begin construction until 3pm. Power tools, hammering, dropping tools and heavy objects on the floor, scraping things across the floor were some of the things we had to endure. As a veteran with PTSD I had extreme difficulty dealing with the constant banging and having the unit we were in actually shudder when they dropped heavy objects above us. When I contacted management they basically told me to deal with it as they had zero empathy about the situation and what we were experiencing. The only peace we had was to leave the unit until 3-4 in the afternoon.

Check in was easy, and the condo was equipped with everything we needed. The living roomFireplace was wonderful to warm up by, it gets nice and toasty! Summit mountain rentals were great in helping with any issues we had.Cons: The unit was clean but the bathrooms needed a little more attention. I am super particular with bathroom cleanliness. The bunk room was extremely cold as there was an ice build up inside the window. Summit rentals were quick to deliver a heater which helped. The living room sofa was not comfortable, and we wished there were two chairs so we could all comfortably relax after long days. The beds were ok, a little firm for our liking. Overall, it was a decent unit but we probably wouldn’t rent it again.
