Check in staff very nice. Bed comfy. Room clean. Lots of dining close by. Hotel breakfast did not get restocked after 9 so we got remnants, and there was no one around to ask for just fruit and yogurt.

Very basic one-star hotel. The room had twin beds even though it was listed as a queen bed. There was nothing in the room—not even a USB charging port for phones. The price was high for what they offer. Breakfast was extremely basic. tea not available. Although I paid through Expedia, the hotel still charged me an additional $100 deposit. I have never been charged a deposit like this before, either in the U.S. or overseas. They said the deposit would be returned after housekeeping inspected the room, which was new to me—especially since Expedia already had all my information on file. I do not recommend this place.

Overall a good hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. I understand why the name is Microtel (micro sized hotel) lol. The staff was friendly and helpful too.
