We ended up leaving and getting a refund. The manager could not understand English very well so we had a difficult time communicating. We were not able to actually get in our room due to the door being locked from the inside from the privacy latch which can only be locked from the inside. The manager tried to open it with a physical card to get it to open for us but after 15 minutes we asked for a refund. We were sweating in the lobby area and the hallways of the building due to no AC. It did not feel safe and the furniture in the lobby was extremely worn. The public bathroom in the lobby was disgusting and the manager was in a T-shirt and jeans. The whole experience gave us a very unsafe and dirty vibe and when he was not able to get us in the room; that was the last straw so we left. I'm still not sure why the room was locked from the inside unless someone was already in there or employees were in there and didn't want to be seen. It was very weird and uncomfortable. When we had a hard time communicating, we knew it was not a good idea to stay since it just piled on to all the other things wrong. Don't trust the pictures on here. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. There was also an issue with the manager removing the charge on my card but then it showing back up after we left. I called the credit card company and it eventually was removed. Not sure how that happened but the manager was not helpful due to the communication issue.
