The room was clean, but the entire hotel smelled like natural gas, which seems dangerous. the refrigerator also smelled horrible. We didn’t even feel comfortable putting our food or drinks in there. The staff was also rude both when I checked in and when I checked out. Also, I’ve never seen a hotel that states there would be an extra fee to check in early, or that if you bring children you can only use the bedding that is already in the room. Annnd the photos of this hotel on hotels.com were quite misleading. This is a Motel 6, and you can tell when you actually get there, even though the photos online of the hotel and rooms seem really nice. The room was clean and the beds were fine, but that’s where the pros end.

Pleasantly surprised by this Motel 6 Studio (Brenham). It has a fridge, micro, small stove. So helpful for traveling. This location was very clean and my cleanliness standards are high. The AC was able to keep the room very cool. The room was updated and spacious. The online pics are realistic but display good lighting. In reality the lighting is not as good but the decor is true to what is online. The check-in staff were polite. Would absolutely stay again.

The property is clean, and in a location that is near all kinds of stores and restaurants. Easy parking. My teenagers loved it, but my husband and I thought it aopeared very barren and lacked warmth. There are no aigns for the soor for housekeeping to keep out. However, I called the front deak and they were accommodating. The blow dryer looked very old- perhaps from.the 90s- no lie! The rooms have laminate floors which is nice. The AC worked well. I can deal with a the processing holding cell look/vibe, but that's not the reason for 4 star. On the day of check in, I received a call early arouns 800 am from a staff member. She asked for payment over the phone. I was confused. I booked through Expedia and noted I would pay at the property. I told the staff member this and she told me that I never spoke with them directly about that and payment was due for one of the two rooms I reserved. She told me that she wanted a guarantee I wouldn't cancel because she had 4 people already cancel their rooms that morning. What does that have to do with me?! I refused to make make payment over the phone, something didn't sound right. She then told me, it's okay she just wanted to make sure I was going. I mean what in the world! Check in was smooth. Staff were nice. But that random call that morning was unprofessional in my opinion.

Super easy to find… safe parking lots. Really great staff… we really enjoyed how friendly the staff was. Our rooms were clean and very nice. Would stay again if we come back to this area.

This Motel 6 is incredibly clean and very well maintained. For me, it is like a good Yamaha acoustic guitar with a good tone and at a very nice price. Applebees is within walking distance. Whataburger, Denny's, and Walmart are all close. I prefer to stay here and drive the additional 70 miles or so to get to Harris County, when I need to.
