Imagine sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a cool glass of sweet tea while relaxing on the back porch of this peaceful antique cottage that once served as a Sunday house for a local farmer and his family. Located in the downtown area of the charming and historic town of Chappell Hill you can enjoy shopping and dining by walking a very short distance or making a short drive into Brenham. Your stay includes coffee, juice, and muffins. Kitchen is stocked for cooking your own meals and includes a washer and dryer. This is a great place to stay for couples or a get away with girlfriends. It’s also a great area if you like fall festivals and antique shows.

Best little cottage

Love this little cottage. It is located on the heart of Chappell Hill. We have stayed here many times and this place always feels like home away from home. Cozy and peaceful. House is decorated so cute and VERY CLEAN! The host Mrs Susie is the sweetest and she always makes sure you are well taken care of.

Cute cottage studio with a full kitchen. Lovingly decorated. Such a great location as a home base for looking for wildflowers! Found a lot of them! Parked right in front of the cottage - easy to load/unload.

Great for a small girlfriends trip!

My sister-in-law (who is also my best friend from high school) and I have stayed at Sunshine Cottage twice now, both times for the Round Top Antiques Fair. The cottage is adorable, clean, well appointed, and it is located in a homey kind of neighborhood, right across from a country church. It is walking distance to restaurants and some shops. It has a nice porch in back to sit and enjoy the evening. The hostess is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone who just wants to spend a nice, restful time in a lovely vintage home, perfect for two!

Get away from the city

Beautiful peaceful and serene place . The host gave thought even to the smallest detail. Who, has drinks, coffee and breakfast muffins available for you, oh wait .. Blue Bell ice cream in the freezer and a bowl of snacks on the kitchen table. I simply loved it .
