The stay at the Heart of Rock-n- Roll was great.. The location was great. The communication with Kendall was on point, answered questions quickly and promptly. I definitely would recommend This place.. I will definitely stay again when visiting Brianhead..
The pros: The location is stunning with incredible views of the surrounding landscape. Parking was convenient in the garage below the building, and the elevator made it easy to access the unit. The resort staff we encountered â particularly at the front desk and restaurant â were friendly and professional. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, though there were no changing rooms nearby and the sauna wasnât operational during our stay.
The cons: The unit itself was uncomfortably warm, even in freezing outdoor temperatures. We had to keep the windows open and rely on a floor fan that was originally plugged into a socket that only worked when the ceiling lighwas on. There was only one coffee cup in the kitchen and no glasses. Electrical outlets were limited, outdated, and not conveniently placed for device charging â especially near the bed. The seating options were also lacking: a low rocker recliner, a small, sagging sleep sofa, and four metal bar-height chairs at the breakfast table. Even the bed was difficult to sit on due to its height, with no steps or support to access it easily. We also ran into issues with streaming devices, as only one could be activated and the QR code for others didnât work.
We appreciate the scenic setting and the efforts of the resort staff, but the unit could benefit from several basic improvements in comfort, amenities, and modern functionality. While we were disappointed to leave early, we hope our feedback helps future guests and encourages th
The room was pretty small. The TV and cable was really bad - but who comes to the mountains to watch TV? The "hot plate" was not working and there was no place to prep for any food....so plan on eating out
Place to sleep with incredible views and hotel-equivalent kitchenette
This place was similar to an aged hotel with a small kitchenette. In my college days I would've happily crammed 4 people in here and used the sink and microwave while we stashed approximately 9 beers in the fridge (maybe 12 would fit- didn't try). My overall point here is that is you need a place to stay that is clean and quiet with your basic needs met (note I stayed in off-season, so it was very quiet) then this is your place. If you're looking for a "high end experience", this is not the unit for you. But for me, the view and the quiet were exactly what I can for.
A couple items to be addressed: electrical outlets are worn out and need to be replaced, couldn't use tv due to no buttons on it and lack of remote (although there were two batteries laying on the shelf seeming to be expecting their electronic friend to join them any minute). Property Management did not respond to message left regarding remote. Front desk was unable to help either.
We enjoyed the stay and it was decent for the price. There are some issues that should be addressed. There was no remote so we couldnât watch TV and no DVD player. The fireplace doesnât work. Some of the outlets have issues with power, mostly because they wonât keep the plug in them and should be replaced. Otherwise we had a great time and like I said decent for the cheapest one in Brian Head.
Unit had everything I needed. Access to pool and fitness center is a big plus without having to pay daily resort fee. However, dishes had old food stuck on the side and toilet ran every 15 mins. Due to Covid, did not want to have maintenance person come in the room to fix.
This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed! The room was dirty with coffee still in the coffee pot. TV did not work and the blinds did not cover the windows so it was nearly 85 degrees with no AC. When I reached out to the manager they basically ignored me all weekend.
Misleading. There's a reason the property owner does not display a picture of inside property.
1.)Was not cleaned before I went inside, out of compliance(COVID). Filthy coffee maker with old coffee grounds stuck to the pot. Cleaning lady came that evening and spent 2 hours cleaning. 2.)Moldy shower curtain liner. 3.)Broken toilet seat. 4.) Television NEVER worked as property owner refuses to install appropriate installation and/or cable. 5.) Saliva and/or fluid stains on bed pillows. 6.) Glass covering on gas fire-place has rust splatter/stain, unable to utilize fire-place. I was in constant contact with management (Theresa Lopez.) She made contact with property owner, he assured her he would make contact with me. As of this email he has not! I am requesting half my money back as I spent as little time as possible in this private unit. In addition, I made several phone calls and emails to Escape Properties. Like Cedar Creek Lodge, they will do nothing about this property since it is privately owned. Disappointing, misleading, and out of COVID COMPLIANCE from all parties involved. Furniture is old, worn out; carpet is worn and smells. mini-fridge is old, toaster oven is so stained with rust its a health hazard. Floor boarding has fallen off and not repaired nor replaced. I do have pictures and submit to Theresa Lopez.
This was a perfect anniversary trip. the condo was great, and the amenities were fantastic. We loved the proximity to the ski resort, Brianhead. We will definitely come again and next time bring the crew.
