This Colonial Bridgetown guesthouse is smoke free.
Very peaceful place just outside Bridgetown, one to remember. We had a dinner and breakfast which was both perfect.
We had a 4 year old child with us, which is probably not the ideal visitor here, but the staff was very accommodating and kind.
I loved , loved this beautiful property. It was so peaceful and idyllicâŠ. Our room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. The pool and the main house was very well preservedâŠ. Breakfast the first morning was complimentary and was very tasty! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Please donât hesitate to book. The pictures doesnât do it justice.
Dog hair all over furniture in common areas. Not food available. Pool was dirty. No greeting or explanation given about property. No assistance with luggage and all rooms are upstairs. Property is not as described. This is really a wedding venue with room for the wedding party to get ready and not a boutique hotel.
Peaceful, relaxing. the host Holly met all of our needs, and the other staff were very good as well. Pool was very nice, and the rooms were great and kept very nicely.
This an interesting and different option. Great if you want a secluded place away from the bustle. Country house feel. Not much in the way of food or amenities but very relaxing. Close enough to town and entertainment, restaurants etc.
Never knew what was included and what we would be charged. Staff wasn't really around much. No coffee in the morning before we went out. No ice. No hot water two days.
Fabulous most relaxing stunning place, great staff and two wonderful dogs had a lovely holiday in a small independent hotel. Would recommend it if you want a real Bajan experience and Pamelas pancakes are the best.
This was quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had in my life of travelling. Upon arriving we had to take a cab which cost over $80 US to the site. The hotel was under renovations and the entire road leading to the hotel was ripped up with construction vehicles blocking our passage. After an hour we finally managed to locate a staff member who told us the hotel was closed. We spent 6 weeks trying to get our money back only to have Expedia tell us that the hotel would not reimburse us. We were forced to find other accommodations in high season at significant cost to us. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.
het huis en de omgeving is prachtig. het is er heerlijk rustig en verwijderd van de rumoerige buitenwereld. het was extra rustig omdat ik de enige gast was
Best word to describe our stay would be "confusing". We were warmly greeted and the place had beautiful potential. We enjoyed our stay, and Carlos was very hospitable. But we were left to "fend" for ourselves quite a bit which we love to do, but did not want to invade the space of the staff and come off as rude to them. The room we were given was not very nice compared to the others available. We were the only people staying there the night we stayed (which in itself was a little weird) so i think they should have asked our preference. We had prior arrangements for a taxi to the airport upon leaving so we did not need help with anything upon departing. But we joked at the airport about wondering if they realized we had left yet since the staff was so scarcely seen and nobody said goodbye, thanks for coming, etc. All in all a fun experience and would love to visit again with the awareness we have now of how to enjoy and what to expect. With some "hands on" management The Bellevue Plantation could be one of the highlights to visit on the island of Barbados.
