Another lovely stay but disappointed in the astronomic rise in the cost of the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings from £75 on our stay 18months ago to £130! We chose not to partake. However, great choices on the main menu and the steak was the best I’ve had in a long time.
Lighting in the dining room is poor at night and we found it impossible to read the wine list on a brown background. Most of the tables are unsteady from a poor design - we had to change tables twice at breakfast or risk losing a lot of our tea into the saucer.
