Ok for one night

Good for one night stop, comfy bed and new rooms. Breakfast was a disappointment. Coffee was good though. Ample parking and easy to Goni to town.

The property was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only complaint I would have was that when we arrived there was no one at the front desk and I had to phone the hotel twice.

First and foremost, it didn't feel like staying in a Hilton hotel, albeit Spark being targeted to be on the cheaper side. As soon as we entered the hotel's hallway, the stench was overwhelming and the hallway carpet was stained. Inside the room, the floor had so many marks on it that it never felt clean. The baseboards were dusty and stained; bathroom had plenty of rust looking yellow spots in the shower area. Breakfast was ok but the service was not great; tables had food crumbs so I had to clean my table; many items needed restocking but perhaps they were understaffed to do so in a timelymanner (only one person handling breakfast and check-in counter). Overall, my experience was poor and I may not book another Spark. By the way, thanks to the internet, I found out that this hotel used to be a Travelodge hotel. The only difference now is the new paint and furniture. That explained why my stay was poor.

Great stay

This hotel offered a bright clean room with a well-maintained finishes, good beds, great water pressure in the shower. We sincerely appreciated a decent sound installation installation within the room (washroom sounds ). We'll keep the Spark in mind for our future family trips.
