Our cabin experience was great. Exactly as described and felt like a home away from home. The road to get to the cabin is absolutely terrible unfortunately. Otherwise the stay was amazing
Location is great, we really enjoyed the fire pit in the evening, beds were comfortable, but we were surprised upon our arrival to hear talking inside the cabin.. we wondered if someone was there. As we unlocked the door we realized that the TV was on and the volume very loudâŠnot sure why, maybe it was left on accidentally by the cleaning lady. There were a couple of bulbs that were flickering in the kitchen and dining room. It might be a good idea to provide extra blankets as we just had barely enough. We overall liked it and would recommend it.
Outside decks and furniture needed washing.
Inside for most part it was clean except for the floor around the beds and bed rails had unidentified fragments . Suggest a Kuerig coffee maker , and a few pods to start the day. We brought pods. Overall we enjoyed except too far from everything and the road was terrible
The cabin was very cozy, very pretty and the decor was really beautiful. Things were clean, did see some clumps of hair probably from a pet, which was not an issue. The beds were comfy. The area was nice and quiet, the roads in some area was pretty muddy but that is normal due to the rain.
There was a couple things that we noticed and only to give you a heads up about.
The smaller bathroom shower knob comes off when trying to turn it. Also, the toilet seat slides when you sit down which could pinch a leg.
The larger shower has water spraying out behind on the pipe behind the soap dish. Which might be a small crack.
The stairs are not friendly for older women, which should be stated on the website that they are somewhat steep for seniors. We had only one who could due the stairs.
Also, there were no blankets to be found to be used for the pull out bed.
There were no sheet or pizza pans for the oven. May I suggest that you stock with aluminum foil.
Sorry to say we wonât be able to come back due to the age of some.
Again, we did enjoy the place. Thank you.
