The only thing that was frustrating was that the pool service interrupted our swimming but the owner was great about changing it. The owner was very accommodating to allow us to have the family come over for dinner and he was easy to reach when I had questions. I would gladly stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay. Only a few miles from where we were hunting, the HEB and lots of restaurants. After a hot day in the fields, the pool was very welcoming. Great communications with the hosts.

I had originally booked this property back in May but had to adjust my reservation due to unexpected expenses, ultimately moving my stay to August 21st–28th. Unfortunately, on July 13th my family suffered a devastating loss when my cousin was involved in a tragic ATV accident with his girlfriend, where they fell nearly forty feet off an embankment. My cousin did not survive, and his girlfriend sustained severe, life-threatening injuries that left her fighting for her life in the ICU for over a month. Out of respect for this situation and the ongoing medical crisis, I reached out to the homeowner well in advance, requesting to simply reschedule my stay to a later date. I explained the circumstances in full and even provided approximately two weeks’ notice so that the homeowner would have had the opportunity to re-list the property and potentially secure another booking during my original travel dates.Despite the seriousness of my situation, the host showed no willingness to work with me toward any resolution—not even a partial refund or the courtesy of rescheduling. To make matters worse, both my mother and I attempted to call and text the homeowner multiple times, but our communications went completely unanswered. Their lack of compassion and professionalism during such a sensitive time was extremely disheartening. While the property itself may look appealing, I feel it’s important for future guests to know that the host was neither accommodating nor communicative.

Beautiful home, great location. Near to everything you could want. Only 25 minutes to South Padre.Hosts recommdations for places to eat and things to do were spot on!Bed was super comfortable, and bedroom was huge.

White wing hunt in S. Texas

Four of us annually travel to Brownsville to hunt dove. This house was perfect for us as it had four beds, a pool, a covered patio, was close to grocery stores and restaurants and was close to the actual field we hunted in. We will be back next year.
