This hotel was a big disappointment. I was shocked by the condition of the property. It was one of the dirtiest, poorly maintained properties I have seen under the Wyndham brand. The floor was dirty with tear marks caused by the unstable metal bed frame that cut into the vinyl flooring material. The tile in the bathroom is old, had mold and mildew in the grout. The bathroom had a methane smell and the toilet barely flushed. Shower head was clogged with black mold. Pool was black and inhabitable, so it was not even available as an amenity. Ice machine broken, no laundry facilities. My teen daughter and I felt unsafe especially with the people hanging out in the parking area smoking weed and drinking. Some rooms obviously were used for storage as junk was stacked up against the windows. Seemed there were long term residents living on the property. Would recommend doing a full gut and renovation or condemn this property and starting over. This experience made me very nervous about staying in any future hotels with the Wyndham name. However, we traveled on to the reservation at the Days Inn in Kingsland Ga., and this property was complete opposite and pleasantly surprised.
