Aris Grand Place Hotel

The stay was okay as the hotel is central to everything. We had a hotel room on the corner of the building over looking the Main Street. The building next door is being renovated and due to this there was a lot of grinding and hammering. Plus, the noise from the Main Street at times was excessive. Overall, what made this hotel was the location.

We were upgraded to room that was larger and in front of building with a view of street, was not noisy. The room included kettle which was nice! Staff was great! If we had one issue, chairs not comfortable!

Excellent location, good value for money.

Chose the hotel for a long weekend with family and it's locality to the city centre. Opted for the Superior rooms, although perhaps difficult to distinguish the difference in quality versus the standard room offerings. Breakfast was served in the independent cafe on the ground floor with a section cordoned off in the morning for hotel guests...which is just as well since it si a very popular location with the locals. That said it also provides a lovely atmosphere during the day and in the evening. Would recommend as a reasonably priced option.

Great place for a weekend away.

AMAZING! Great place for a small weekend away to Brussels / Belgium. The location is absolutely perfect as it is right in the centre of everything you will need. Even though it is in a busy area, there is absolutely no noise coming into the rooms. I would highly recommend for anyone who is tight on time / wants to prioritise location. Rooms were incredibly decent and comfortable. Minor point about temperature fluctuations in the shower but that is it!

Great location, close to train station 6 min walk and to all tourist sites within 5-10 min walking distance. Loyd cafe in hotel premise, which is convenient. Didn’t do the breakfast buffet. Hotel room was clean. Only complaint is the water temperature for the shower. It would all of a sudden turn very hot then very cold. Otherwise, I fo recommend this hotel.

Hotel proprio dietro Grande Place ,accoglienza fantastica , ottima colazione a buffet con croissant panini di sfoglia al cioccolato ,yogurt, cereali, salumi, formaggi e si può scegliere tra pancake o uova con toast e verdure, letto comodo, la stazione centrale si trova a 6 minuti a piedi,tornerò per vedere i mercatini di natale e lo sceglierò nuovamente, consigliato.

Overall good stay

Stay was overall really good. Glasses in bathroom was dirty and I didn’t get any of the perks I’m supposed to with my gold member status with hotels.com but staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was nice and I loved being able to cast my Netflix on the tv. I did however not appreciate the 7am wake up by guys outside throwing stuff in a skip - not ideal when I have a long day ahead of me

Hotel in the most central location of the city. Helpful staff who assisted us and provided great recommendations. Clean and renovated bathroom. Spacious and comfortable room. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast. There was a small buffet with cold cuts, baked goods, etc., and then you could choose from four types of brunch.
