5th floor corner suite

We had a great room in this quaint hotel. It was the 5th floor with a view. We loved it. Bed was ok, bathroom was very nice, great shower, but we had problems getting the right temperature, but that could have been us not giving it enough time to warm up. The breakfast was wonderful. Woud definitely stay again

The property has good qualities: nice staff, clean, rooms as described, beds are great. But there is a significant problem with the breakfast. The dining area is served by one person. They work hard. But every day of our stay they were out of coffee cups, juice glasses, croissants! This was ridiculous. The one person cannot handle it all. That is a management problem. It is peak season in Brussels. You have to staff better. The food was also mediocre. Note that the food is prepared by Lloyd’s eatery’s chain. They clearly prioritize their own customers. The eggs were not blended enough resulting in scrambled eggs that look like a mottled mess. The yoghurt parfait is clearly made the day before with soggy granola and dried out fruit.

Room was nice and clean. Staff is super nice. Breakfast was nice! 2 issues: Air conditioner had trouble keeping a resonable temperature but it was quite toasty outside. Probably the best it could do was bring the room temp down to maybe 75F. Second: Also, main elevator was down most of the trip and secondary elevator didn't like to go to ground level. You would catch mulitple people riding the elevator up and down trying to get to the ground floor. But other than these two items. Convenient location and nice cafe so still give it a 4 out of 5.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, front desk were very friendly and helpful especially Ms Virginia. It has a very strategic location to all of Brussel's tourist attractions. Room was clean and modern and breakfast was delightful, will definitely stay here when we go back.

Great hotel

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a perfect location, the staff are all helpful and kind, the rooms are simple, clean and comfortable and our view was beautiful from our room on the 5th floor. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel on the day we arrived (we got there a few hours before check in) and were able to do this on our last day too and just popped back to the hotel before going to the airport. We would definitely stay here if we visit Brussels again.

Excellent Stay

Spacious room (105). Very big, luxurious and comfortable bed with soft linen and pillows. Amazing, powerful and warm shower. Air conditioned room with plenty of space and two large windows. Cleansing towel on arrival was warmly received after a hot day on checking in and water in the room. Nice selection of tea and coffee and comfortable dressing gown and slippers. Lovely looking coffee shop when you walk through to the reception (great it offers dairy free alternatives).

In the thick of the action

While I understand it was unusually warm for Brussels, some kind of air conditioning would have been nice. Also, entering through the very busy cafe was a bit strange. However, the location cannot be beat and the staff were lovely.

Great location but hot rooms in summer.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff. The first room 305 was very hot. AC was not working. We were able to move to a cooler room. In both rooms the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom floor if you use the hand held option over the rain shower head. 1 elevator was out the entire time and the other one did not stop on the main lobby. Not a problem until you have to haul your luggage down narrow stairs. Breakfast was delicious but the same options everyday can get mundane.

Very lovely, tiny hotel in the middle of a noisy, dirty neighborhood. The lobby is very unique: a cafeteria with a library design and the friendly front desk at the far corner. Unfortunately the last 2 days something was wrong with the both elevators. The room was big enough with a comfortable king size bed, clean and modern shower. Modern furniture like from “IKEA” but who cares. No refrigerator which is very bad. And the coffee machine is a little old fashion with two packs of coffee only. The breakfast is not like in American hotels: the bread, croissants, orange juice and coffee machine are there for self service. But the breakfast itself you have to order from the menu. If you stay 3-4 days you have an option to order something different every day. It’s its very tasty and delicious. So, it’s a very good 3 star hotel and you got what you pay. Even a little more.

Loved the location of this hotel and the proximity to Grand Place and central train station. We had a really cool family room with loft upstairs with queen bed and full bath and private entrance which was what I needed for family of 4. However it was miserably hot in the upstairs loft even with AC on. It was not blowing cold air and did not work properly for our two nights. The two fans helped but it was crazy hot! The downstairs room was cool fortunately but I would recommend this family loft room for non-summer stays! The upstairs room also had a nauseating sewer smell when we got there which housekeeping addressed and thankfully it got better otherwise I would rate this less than I have. Coffee shop was awesome and the breakfast was amazing!

I stayed there for 2 nights. It was a lively stay. Staff was so welcoming and room itself was spotless and overall we had everything we needed. Location was perfect and everything was in walking distance. The only letdown was breakfast. We had breakfast included in our package. Although staff tried their best, it was not the best option. Coffee was terrible and on both occasions scrambled eggs and pancakes came out cold. Sorry management, only a bit of work required is towards your breakfast, otherwise it was a fantastic stay.
