This place was so bad that I did not stay even though it was for one night but I found another hotel and left after seeing the place. I did lose my money but I did not care since that place needs complete renovation. It is unfortunate since it is in the most beautiful town squares of Brussels's city.

I would just like to tell you that the majority of our guests know very well that we are not a 4 or 5 star hotel, and that we have excellent reviews from our guests. I know people like you, who go on the internet and research prices only, never mentioning the condition or comfort of the hotel, which is why you said "horrible". We're a small hotel without a big reception, etc. So go to a 4 or 5 star hotel, accept to pay double or triple our prices and rest easy. There's no need to lie or invent an opinion just to cause harm. It's just a question of honesty. Sincerely yours.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the square. It is close to the shops, restaurants, and other places. The hotel room is enormous, and the bathroom shower water pressure is excellent. The gentleman who works at the front desk was accommodating with our transportation to the airport with no troubles! It is a beautiful hotel with lots of characters! I would love to stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel location was fabulous, right on the Grand Place, easy walking distance to attractions. A room at the front would have been lovely as they looked out over the square but ours was at the back. The room was basic but large and comfortable and catered for all our needs. The breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant across the square from the hotel.The best was the owner, Said, who was friendly, helpful and informative.

Needs updating

Location was perfect and the manager was so nice and helpful. The hotel’s lack of a lobby (it’s just a desk in a hallway) was a little odd and the carpet is in drastic need of replacing. The room was clean enough but could use a major overall. But again, location was perfect even if my room had no view.
