How close is Hotel Vintage Airstream to downtown Brussels?
My hubby and I stayed here as the second stop on our Euro trip. We were looking for something other then cookie cutter hotel room experiences. This fit the bill. The trailer itself is actually nicer and bigger inside then I expected. There is a small sitting area in the front which is where we stacked our luggage, a small bathroom (very small, the door touched my knees as I did my business) I did not use the shower but my hubby did and said the size, water pressure, and cleanliness was all suitable. The bed was comfy and there was a tv to keep us entertained.
The trailer is in the courtyard of the hotel and is set back from the main street by only about 30 or 40 feet. The good news is that the street is a small one and isn't too busy. However, if you are a light sleeper this may not be a good choice for you. Not only street noise but also people hanging out or smoking in the hotel courtyard can create noise issues. I would say people were out in front of the trailer smoking until about 11pm or so.
The hotel staff was really friendly and even allowed us to check in early.
The area around the hotel has lots of eating and shopping options. It is not a scenic area to stay in but it met our needs.
It was a unique and fun experience to stay in a caravan in the front of the Vintage hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and great hosts! Itâs a fully functional camper with a shower, bathroom, etc.
