•Cook & Dine: Master outdoor dining with both a Blackstone griddle and a propane grill. Inside, enjoy a spacious dining area and breakfast bar for family feasts.

To keep our mountains safe, please follow these rules:
Check for Burn Bans: Use is prohibited during active bans. Before lighting, please Google "Swain County NC Burn Ban" for the current status.

Weather Watch: Do not light fires during high winds or extreme dry conditions.

Never Unattended: An adult must supervise the fire at all times.

Extinguish Fully: Before leaving, drown the fire with water and stir the ashes until they are cold to the touch.

Failure to comply may result in fines or immediate termination of stay. Use at your own risk.


•To keep our rates low, we do not provide firewood. However, we have two easy options for you:
Pre-Arrival Delivery: If you’d like a bundle waiting for you, please let us know before your arrival date and we will arrange delivery (additional fee applies).
Local Pickup: Bundles are also readily available at local Markets or local gas stations just 5 minutes away in downtown Bryson City.

Mountain Comfort (Room by Room): Climate-controlled: Central air/heat + ceiling fans in all bedrooms & living room.

•Bedroom 1 (Master): King bed with a premium memory foam topper and private ensuite with a walk-in shower.

•Bedroom 2: Perfect for kids or friends, featuring one Full and one Twin bed.

•Bedroom 3: Queen bed with direct, private access to the backyard.

(The Pond): For safety, please always supervise children in this area; guests enter at their own risk

Our home is a strictly animal-free environment to protect the health of our essential maintenance team. A key member of our staff has a severe, life-threatening respiratory allergy to animal dander.
Because their safety is our priority, we are unable to accommodate any animals—including service and assistance animals, as the dander creates an immediate health risk for those who maintain the property. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make our home a safe workspace for our team.

We want you to feel at home the moment you walk through the door! To help you settle in, we provide a Welcome Starter Kit which includes:
Initial Supplies: Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and a selection of coffee.
Kitchen Staples: Cooking oil, salt, pepper, and foil for your convenience.
(Note): These supplies are intended to get your vacation started. For longer stays, you may wish to restock at one of the local markets in Bryson City.

Personal Care Notice:
To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests—particularly those with chemical sensitivities or skin allergies—we do not provide communal toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, or body wash). We invite you to bring the personal care products that best suit your family’s specific needs and skin types

Mountain Living & Connectivity:
Weather & Power: Our home is tucked away in a beautiful rural setting. Mother Nature can be unpredictable, and occasional power outages may occur due to weather. Please note that these events are beyond our control, and we are unable to offer refunds for weather-related outages.

Internet: We are proud to offer high-speed Starlink internet; however, due to our rural location, connectivity can occasionally be intermittent. While we provide Wi-Fi and streaming services free of charge, we cannot offer technical support or refunds for service interruptions. We appreciate your understanding of the unique charm (and challenges!) of mountain life.

Nature & Wildlife:
Our cabin is a much-loved older home nestled in the woods near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Because we are immersed in nature, you may see wildlife (and the occasional domestic visitor) in the yard. While the home is spotlessly cleaned and professionally treated for pests, "nature's residents" occasionally find their way indoors. We do our absolute best to keep them at bay, but please keep in mind that an occasional insect or forest visitor is part of the authentic mountain experience!

Mountain Reality Check: Like most rentals near the National Park, our home is occasionally visited by Carpenter Bees and Asian Lady Beetles. These pests are a regional reality and can appear suddenly regardless of cleaning efforts. We recommend keeping doors and windows closed to help keep them outside!

NO SMOKING:
Help us keep our mountain retreat fresh and pristine for everyone!
Indoors: Our home is strictly smoke-free. This includes cigarettes, cigars, and all e-cigarettes or vaping devices.
•Outdoors: You are welcome to smoke outside; however, we kindly ask that you stay well away from open windows and doors to prevent smoke from drifting inside.
•Cleanup: Please ensure all materials are fully extinguished and disposed of properly in a trash receptacle. We take great pride in our landscape and the local environment—please do not leave butts on the grounds.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
We truly value our neighbors and the peaceful atmosphere of our mountain community. To maintain this, we strictly enforce quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
The Policy: Please be mindful of noise levels, especially when enjoying the outdoor areas, hot tub, or firepit.

Enforcement: Violation of house rules or reports of excessive noise may result in an immediate request to vacate the property without a refund. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us remain good neighbors!

Security & Privacy Disclosure:
For your safety and property security, this home is equipped with two external motion-activated cameras that record both video and audio.

Both devices are strictly outdoors, and there are no cameras or recording devices located anywhere inside the home.

1)Front Exterior: For property security, a camera is located above the kitchen door to monitor the driveway and entry access points.

2)Rear Exterior: An outdoor-only camera is positioned above the side sliding door to monitor the backyard and pond area.
