Good location for getting around - overall fine.
Pros:We didn't have to ask for the wifi password, was just provided. Fridge already turned on and cool. Good A/C and HOT showers!
Cons:One staff person did tell us that we wouldn't be able to get our money changed anywhere on Sunday and things would be closed. It just wasn't true.
Location:This hotel is definitely within walking distance of Florida. It's also just around the corner from Agenda 9 de Julio. Near a movie theater.
Not amazing, but nothing wrong with it either. In fact, the scariest part were the elevators!
The room was clean and a queen bed as we'd booked. Our room was close to the elevator so we heard some elevator noise in the night, but nothing we couldn't handle. I appreciated that the breakfast was open for 3 hours and we found the spread to be good - hot eggs and bacon (or just heated up lunch meat?), cold cheese and luncheon meat, two types of cereals, several varieties of breads and toasts, lots of options for jams/honey for your bread, canned fruits (peaches, pears, tropical mix and one other) as well as fresh fruits.
The bed wasn't luxurious, but it absolutely wasn't the worst either. The air conditioner worked well. The shower provided very hot water and I needed it nowhere as hot as it would go. The room contained a min-fridge stocked with a nice variety of drinks and alcohol that we did not use, but appreciated that the fridge was already cool four our bottled water we brought with us.
I did find the internet spotty at times, but in off-peak times of use it was fine. There is a code they provide you without having to ask for it, and there is a separate wireless router per floor of the hotel. Actually two per floor, so you shouldn't have to be fighting against too many other people for internet.
