Wet Feet Retreat is a family friendly home near Burnside Island State Park.

Welcome to our family's lake house! Four generations of our family have grown up swimming, boating, fishing and skiing on Lake Cumberland. We want to share our love for Lake Cumberland and the surrounding area with you! Begin your family’s memories of Lake Cumberland here!

This home is a clean, spacious, open concept 3 bedroom and 2 full bath home. The property features a huge driveway for car, truck and boat parking and a large back patio with a gas grill and plenty of seating for the entire family. The house includes, complimentary coffee and creamer, all linens and dish soap are provided, the kitchen is fully stocked. The home can sleep up to 10 people; 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, a trundle bed with 2 twin beds, and a sleeper sofa.
We are minutes away from Burnside Island Boat Ramp with free boat launch!

There is a seasonal lake view from the property, but no lake access direct from the property. You can rent pontoon boats from Burnside Marina (4 mi.), Lake Cumberland Boat Rental (Launches from Burnside Island), Lee’s Ford Marina (13 mi.) or Conley Bottom Marina (20 mi.). Enjoy a day at Pulaski Co. Park at the “lake beach” or Somersplash water park for some fun in the sun, if you are coming without a boat. Be sure to check out visitburnside.com and seesomerset.com for local events.

Since we are located near Lake Cumberland, on a semi-wooded lot, you may encounter poisonous plants, such as ivy, use caution if exploring the tree line. You may also encounter insects and wildlife. Be prepared for any of the following: ticks, mosquitos and deer. Additionally, you may encounter one of the neighborhood dogs, that roam freely at times, all are friendly.

*DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED to roam in, around or behind the garage. This space is not for guest use.

It was absolutely awesome!!! It was large enough for our family hanging out. We actually had a Kenyan couple who we have claimed as our own that was here on a mission trip along with their son who attends Oneida Baptist institute 2 of my grown children and my sister!!! We ALL loved it!!! The place was absolutely amazing we have no complaints. We give it a five-star review only because that's the highest we can give. I've already been dreaming of all the things that could be done there. Like a senior ladies weekend with my church friends LOL just so many things, the place is so amazing the price was great and I will definitely recommend you to anybody that's going to be staying in that area. And I definitely will be remembering you if and when I decide to come back to the Burnside area. I know it's been a little long but I have to say one more time just how blessed we were to have found this place for this weekend. And again I say it truly was an amazing weekend.

This home was perfect for our getaway to attend the car show in Somerset. We were looking for a home with a driveway that could accommodate two trucks and enclosed trailers carrying our cars to the show. The owner went above and beyond even going to the property to take a video of the driveway and sending it to me prior to booking this property. House was very spacious, extremely clean, and beds were very comfortable. We found the house to be very convenient to all the places we wanted to go for the weekend, but yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle and very peaceful and quiet surroundings. The road leading to the house can be very narrow at times, allowing for only one car to pass, but this was all explained to us prior to booking the property and we did not find it to be a problem pulling a trailer since there was not much traffic on the road. We will definitely be staying here again when we travel to this area.

Home away from home!

What a great place! All family members enjoyed their stay. Sleeping arrangements fit all of us. Clean! Kitchen very well stocked with cook ware, plates, utensils. Close to Cumberland lake.

The home was beautiful and clean. Had almost everything we needed. Size of TV was too small for the size of the room. Need small bars of soap for the showers. Need a small stand near the kitchen table to put stuff on.

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed the stay at Wet Feet Retreat. It was so quiet and peaceful. The property was well maintained both inside and outside. We made the mistake of locking ourselves out. The owners were very quick to respond, and they had us back inside within 10 minutes. They were great. We would recommend this location to anyone.
