Washer and Dryer and also plenty of parking for the family. Screened in Porch. Incredible privacy and seasonal mountain views!
The cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing and restful time. We were working everyday during our week, helping to build homes for those that suffered loss from Helene. The washer/dryer were great (the owner even provided laundry soap). Coffee in the morning before heading out (coffee and filters were provided by the owner too). Coming back to the cabin and relaxing on the screened in porch, listening to each others stories of the day, was WONDERFUL!! Thank you so much for making this available for us during our time working in the area. We will stay here again when back to continue volunteering in the area with Samaritan's Purse.
Well-appointed kitchen made cooking meals for my local family a snap & Burnsville has an excellent grocery store! The screen porch was a favorite gathering spot when we gathered as well as comfy sectional across from fireplace. Just a perfect hilltop cabin with plenty of wildlife amid the treetops!
We were in the area visiting family and the cabin was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked for anything we needed. We especially loved the screened porch and enjoyed our coffee there every morning. I hope to stay again the next time we visit.
House was great. Just had 3 guys there but could comfortably had 3 couples. Kitchen was well appointed. Living area great with lots of comfortable seating. Beds very comfortable. Very scenic. Only negative, and it is not trou
My husband and I brought a trailer load of post Helene supplies and donations from Alabama. We visited with new friends made over the past two months while helping with various things from a distance. This home was the perfect setting to host our friends and their two children. Other than our groceries, we did not have to worry about or look for anything we needed. The house is so warm, inviting and cozy. Beds slept fine, WiFi was strong, kitchen beautifully decorated and likely the most well stocked cabinets of any Vrbo we have stayed in. The view is wonderful too! We will definitely return and plan to stay here every time. Thank you for this terrific place!
Very pleasant cabin for 4 adults with well-equipped kitchen, large sectional in living area with fireplace and comfortable beds. Wonderful screened in porch overlooking the wooded mountains.
This cabin exceeded our expectations. The location is very peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed! The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances, pots and utensils. We both loved the screened in porch to sit and relax. We saw deer grazing in the yard. Wonderful place!
We enjoyed the cabin so much. Quiet and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed the porch and saw lots of deer! We would definitely stay here again.
Cozy getaway with beautiful views and a gas fireplace
So charming! Host is gifted in hospitality. I felt like I was staying at the home of a friend. From her initial call to assure that our check-in went well to all the special touches in the cabin, we felt at home. While we loved visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway, we almost wished for a day of rain so we could have spent more time in the cabin.
The views were spectacular. While another review expressed concern about the one lane road for a small section of the last leg of the trip, it was paved and we had no problems, even though we do not have a 4wd vehicle. There were places to pullover if a car came from the opposite direction. It is only for local residents. We only saw one vehicle on it in 3 days. Great place to stay!
Our daughter, son in law, grandkids, and boy and girl friends stayed at the house. They live in Florida, and it was so great to see them. We were glad they had a safe place to stay.
Beautiful home! The pictures do not do it justice. We loved everything about it. Super clean. Looked like it was just updated. Loved the way it was decorated. The porch is a very peaceful place to relax. The kitchen is Fully stocked. Weâve stayed at many homes and this one by far provides the most amenities in the kitchen and laundry areas. We didnât have to buy anything but food and ice. Itâs a little warm at night in the bedrooms but itâs stocked with fans to keep you cool. Thereâs an air conditioner and ceiling fan in the main living area. Ceiling fan in master bedroom. Itâs close to town (10 min) by car not walking. We didnât mind that at all. Cool restaurants, groceries nearby. Itâs a steep hill to get to home which made coming home an adventure. Lots of deer could be seen along the road. We would definitely stay here again. We travelled with our sons, 17 & 19. Plenty of games provided too. Wish we could have stayed longer. So happy we chose this home! Owner, Carrie checked in with us to make sure everything was good.
The property was designed around watching the sun rise over the trees, and we did, from the porch and the living room. Every detail reminded us to relax and indulge. Kitchen had everything, was beautiful. 2 bathrooms were helpful for our group of 5. Bedding was comfortable. Our only tip is to arrive in daylight because at night we weren't sure which of 2 driveways it was. (Pick the right side, less steep driveway.) Overall, this was a perfect way to visit the Burnsville area.
From the moment we booked, until we drove away, our stay was perfect. Jeff and Carrie's communications were awesome! They responded to any question I had right away. The house was peaceful and clean. The front porch was great for coffee and taking in the beautiful sunrise. We also saw a lot of deer! We would go back for sure!
Thank you for providing a great place to stay and making us feel welcome Jeff and Carrie! :)
The house and location were great! The house was very well stocked with everything that was needed. I would say my only suggestion would be to have central HVAC installed.
The cabin was wonderful; super clean; kitchen very well equipped. My teenage children loved the loft, having their own space. I would recommend to anyone. We would love to come back.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at s'mores amore cabin. Carrie reached out at check in and was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked, we were very impressed! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the firepit. The cabin is close to town which made it easy to go out for meals and shopping on Main street. We also really appreciated the 11am check out time. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to come back!
The property was very clean, updated, very well supplied, comfortable living conditions in mountain retreat. Appliances in excellent condition, comfortable furniture and bedding. Wi-Fi connection good.
My family and I stayed there for a local wedding. The cabin was a great refuge from the craziness. The manager/owner was very responsive to any questions.
We had the best time staying at this cabin. It's super cute well equipped with all essentials need as most rental are always short. The owner of this cabin has thought about all little details that most rental don't think about it to make your stay very special. We had a little incident that was my fault for not communicating with the host and she was very friendly and understandable. We work it out to a great solution. Would def. go back and referrer it out with absolute no doubt.
We were a party of four (two couples) who spent a beautiful weekend in the mountains at this cabin. Overall we were very impressed with the listing and accommodations; the property was very clean and well-stocked, especially the kitchen. We used the fire pit (thank you for the fire starters and sâmores sticks!) as well as the grill for a steak night. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot overlooking the woods; we spent a couple of nights there with wine and enjoyed watching deer nearby. It was nice having two bathrooms, though visitors would need to bring their own shampoo/conditioner. There was parking space for two vehicles, including one covered spot. We didnât think neighbors were too close, and it was nice enjoying the quiet of the woods without feeling too alone. The main thing to note is that this cabin is a solid 45-minutes away from downtown Asheville (the listing says 30) in the town of Burnsville, so the location was a little inconvenient for some of the farther activities that we had planned. The property is also located a wayâs off the main road up a one-way hill, which was fine for us, but driving at night might be difficult and an AWD vehicle would be needed in certain weather conditions. Overall weâd rank this a 4.5-star stay and had a great time!
The home is perfectly appointed, and better than the description. The owners take great care to make sure everything goes well, keeping in contact and answering any questions so quickly. The home is comfortable without being 'fussy' with lots of thoughtful extras (screened porch, fire pit, s'mores sticks, labeled remotes). You can tell it's a home, and not just a rental, and that they want you to relax and have no worries. Quiet neighborhood, ample parking, and a quick drive into town. We would 100% stay again! Oh, and the outdoor motion lights only went off if we went by to our car at night - which is super nice because it's pitch black dark, gloriously light free up there, perfect for star gazing!
