Awesome hotel. Welcoming staff and a good location. Close to bus lines and a main subway. Not far from the international airport also. Very cheap, and great amenities in the hotel. Highly recommended!

The hotel from the outside looks amazing and the lobby and decor is beautiful. However, the smell reminds me of a musty old public library - not of a hotel. The room was spacious with a seating area but the carpet is stained and really needs a deep clean to bring out the color. The old smell still lingers. The airconditioning doesn't cool the room even after leaving it on for most of the day. I slept without the duvet blanket to keep me cool.

Convenient location, walking distance from Busan Station (if you have limited luggage). Ask for a high level room for spectacular views over the port city. Unique design; recently refurbished. Some Reception staff speak good English (less so in the dining rooms).

Traditional hotel

My brother and I stayed here to visit our old houses in Busan. We grew up in the shadow of this hotel but never went in. The hotel is a grand dame and whilst some might find it dated, the rooms are comfortable and service called and anywhere that has silken tofu for breakfast gets my vote. I look forward to retuning.
