A spacious farmhouse overlooking an Amish community in the Mohican Valley with expansive porches, fully equipped modern kitchen, large living room, laundry room, main floor bath and bedrooms, fire pit, internet, plenty of privacy, peace and quiet. Enjoy hiking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, golfing, shopping and dining all conveniently located.
Scenic Ridge is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests. Special attention is given to disinfecting frequently touched areas such as door handles, light switches, countertops, faucets, sinks, and toilets. Scenic Ridge Guest House has a no pet policy in an effort to provide a hypoallergenic environment.

My daughter her new husband and 12 of their friends stayed the weekend. They absolutely loved this home and property. Very relaxing and beautiful setting. Perfect!

Relaxing, fully equipped farmhouse!
We stayed at the Scenic Ridge Guest House during the total solar eclipse weekend from Apr 6-9 and it was an amazing stay. Not only was the house very clean, but it had everything we could need for in amenities, including satellite internet, games to entertain the family, neighboring horses, and a large DVD collection for kids to watch. We were able to cook some great meals in the fully equipped kitchen and roast marshmallows in the firepit with the metal roasting sticks and plenty of firewood provided. At night, the stars were visible and amazing to just sit in the rocking chairs on the porch to relax and observe. Nearby, at Malabar Farm State Park, we were also surprised to learn that The Shawshank Redemption was filmed in the area. The highlight of the trip was being able to see the total solar eclipse from the property itself which gave us 2 mins of totality. The weather was 70F and very low amount of clouds so we could not have been luckier to see this once in a lifetime event. Our family was able to hang out on the front lawn, see the eclipse and run our various experiments to see the effects of the solar eclipse. For the totality itself, which was the first time for a majority of our group, it was a breathtaking experience. I would highly recommend staying here again, especially for large groups since the house is spacious and full of various activities to keep everyone entertained. The host, Joann, was very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed.

Ski weekend
The house was wonderful and the scenery was beautiful. We had a snowstorm the first night which set the scene for the rest of the weekend. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the space. I would definitely recommend this home.

Christmas at Scenic Ridge
Our family had a wonderful time! Good places for everyone to sleep and a huge kitchen where we spent a lot of time. The house was decorated for Christmas making it a perfect place to celebrate together!

Perfect for family getaways!
The home is spacious, lovely, and well-equipped! The owner, Joann, the owner, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Our family of twelve fit comfortably with the bedroom options. Serene, Relaxing Hideaway
Our family gets together for a weekend in the fall to laugh, eat too much, share memories and just enjoy all that northeast Ohio Fall can offer. This is our second year at Scenic Ridge and we plan to return for many years in the future! Beautiful location and the home is clean and well kept. Thanks Joann for another lovely weekend at Scenic Ridge.
