Great location

This hotel offers great location. 100m to great beach and a 2 minute walk in to Main Street all with the convenience of onsite parking. Room was a good size with all the normal appliances expected. On site pool was nice with bbq if required. I really liked the look of the outside of the hotel which was of a manor style. Would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay here - biggest benefit is proximity to town and the beach. Loved it. If mattresses and curtains were replaced/upgraded this place would be perfect! Nice and clean.

Great location but dated room

On the positive side this motel was in an excellent location - direct access to the beach and a 3 minute stroll into town. However the room itself was extremely dated and clearly in need of some refurbishment. If you’re planning to spend most of your time out of the room then this might be an option but otherwise I’d look elsewhere

The Wollongbar Motel is a superb place to stay when visiting Byron Bay. It's really clean and well maintained. There's acees to thebeach from the motel grounds. It's a 3 minute walk from the centre of town. Cannot recommend it enough.

There was plenty of free parking in car park. Reception is available 8:30-5 only. The sliding door to room was very difficult to figure out how to lock and unlock. It would be very easy to break into the rooms. There was a small pool and a bbq on property I like the path to the beach from the back of property. The room had kettle, microwave, and fridge. The room was large. Ours had a queen and a bunk bed. TV had a variety of channels. Room was very quiet. You can walk to town in less than 10 minutes. The carpet was worn in the room. The room had a damp smell to it .
