Nice hotel. Clean room, but a little dated. Frustrating room layout, no power sockets by bed for phones to charge, and bathroom fan on all the time lights were on. No way to isolate. Good gym, nice pool.

Lovely spa facilities and helpful staff

We really enjoyed using the spa facilities which felt brand new and very clean. Great location and really helpful staff. We did need to move rooms as the windy weather was whistling through a slightly broken old window, but the staff member at reception moved us straight away to a nicer room and was very helpful. Aspects of the hotel are a little dated and could do with some tlc, but overall a nice stay.

bathroom has very limited space

The room we had was very dark and we had to have the lights on all the time (room 113). the window is very small and the extra thick netting kept out a lot of light. The bathroom was is great need of updatinging. when using the toilet your arms hit the toilet paper holder and with only approx 18" between the wall and bath panel, it's not ideal for cleaning yourself. the room by the sink is also extreamly limited and you have to use the bedroom for drying off after using the bath/shower.

Great for a short stay

We were allocated a spacious family room. The hotel provided fresh milk on request for tea and glasses of ice for cold refreshments. Very nice shower. Lovely swimming pool, sauna and steam room facilities. Great location for exploring Caernarfon. Breakfast was self service, but you have to book your time in advance and if the hotel is busy, you might not get breakfast when you want it. Food options were limited and lacked variety eg fruit choice was apple or melon, no full fat yoghurts, same foods provided each day. But the hash browns were delicious.

Overall we had a lovely stay. The room was a good size. The location was good. Unfortunately our bathroom was not as clean as it should have been on arrival. Other days the room was cleaned properly. Booked hotel as it had a spa a shame the water in the pool and jacuzzi was not heated and cold.
