Spacious Modern Villa with Pool in Great Location On Silver Coast

Spacious modern villa with shared pool and rural views to Foz do Arelho village. The beach is a 15-20 min walk where you will find a promenade and a large sandy beach which borders the ocean and the lagoon; there are beach bars and restaurants along the promenade, all great for watching the sunsets. The villa is a short walk to the village centre which has a bank, shops, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable and contemporary, the villa has 3 double bedrooms, 2 with ensuite and double balconies, there is a large fully fitted kitchen with all amenities. Outside there is plenty of space with a bbq and dining area, sunloungers are provided for relaxing around the pool. The villa is built and furnished to a high standard throughout and provides comfortable accommodation. There is something here for all ages. Cot and highchair are provided. There is a fire in the lounge for cosy evenings should you want to rent in the winter months. (There will be a separate charge for heating in winter). The property is also fully licensed in compliance with Portuguese law, registration no:15337/AL

Local Activities: Obidos lagoon beach is a 15-20min walk (3mins by car) which is wide and sandy, further on the beach meets the Atlantic rollers which is great for surfing. There are great selection of beach bars and restaurants offering local caught fresh fish and a sailing school on the lagoon where sailing, windsurfing and kayaking are available. There are also other surfing schools along the coast nearby. The village centre is a short stroll with all local amenities. For more shopping including several large supermarkets, fresh produce markets and shopping centres Caldas da Rainha is 8km. Obidos walled village is 12km. Lisbon is around 80km by motorway.

There are numerous golf courses within the area, including CampoReal Golf in Torres Vedras, Praia del Rey, Royal Obidos (deigned by Seve Ballesteros), Golden Eagle in Rio Maior and Bom Sucesso. Most are within 30minutes drive.

Sommes nous responsables des dĂ©sagrĂ©ments Ă©ventuellement CausĂ©s par les prĂ©cĂ©dents locataires ? - 4 transats pour la piscine alors que nous Ă©tions 6 , par ailleurs en mauvais Ă©tat et sans matelas.Les transats ne correspondent pas Ă  une note excellente - un seul petit saladier et impossible de faire une salade pour 6 - pas d’essoreuse Ă  salade - micro-ondes rouillĂ© Ă  l’intĂ©rieur et inutilisable, qui nous a Ă©tĂ© changĂ© cependant suite Ă  notre demande - sĂšche serviette rouillĂ© dans la salle de bains du rez de chaussĂ©e donc inutilisable - serviettes de bains salle - table de jardin en plastique que nous avons dĂ» nettoyer avant de s’en servir - porte de douche de la salle de bains du premier difficile Ă  ouvrir et fermer- pas de pression dans la douche - lavabo salle de bains du premier Ă©tage presque bouchĂ© - cuvette des Wc du premier sale Nous sommes donc déçus et nous ne conseillons pas cette location. Nice & spacious house

We had a lovely time in this really nice and clean house. We were 7 adults and a child, and had a confortable space for each familly. Rooms are really big and full of light from numerous glass doors, each is equipped with independent bathroom, and lots of balconies all around for those who prefer some privacy. The swimming pool, shared with 3 other houses, was a bit cold, but very clean, and sharing it with others is not a problem at all. Few groceries are within a walk distance (or on a bike available in the house !) for basic food, morning bread and even open late in the evening. The area is nice and not overrun with tourists. You have a choice between the ocean beach with quite some waves, and the calm lagoon where children can easily bath & play. We just were not very lucky with the weather, it was sunny most of the time but with loads of sea fog bringing really cold wind, making it a bit hard to go to beach. Oddly, the weather far away from the sea, in the neighbouring cities, was great. Lisbon is accessible by car in about 45 minutes. A good think to know to avoid quees on road tolls is to take with the car rental the option of automatic fast pass that is paid all together once you return the car. It pretty saved our time.

MAISON TRES CONFORTABLE ET TRES AGREABLE

Nous avons passé une trÚs belle semaine à 6 dans cette grande maison offrant de beaux volumes. Maison propre et moderne et bien équipée. Piscine bien entretenue et voisinage plaisant. Le seul regret c'est la présence d'un chenil en face de la maison qui occasionne des aboiements à certains moments du jour ou de la nuit.

Na cozinha faltava vĂĄrios utensĂ­lios, principalmente porque Ă©ramos 8 e os tachos eram pequenos para cozinhar para tanta gente.O forno e placa antigos. Muito pouca pressĂŁo no chuveiro para tomar banho. NĂŁo era possĂ­vel 2 pessoas a tomar banho ao mesmo tempo.A casa Ă© muito boa em termos de ĂĄrea, com muita luz natural e muito bem localizada.

Our second year in a row! Simply love the area and the relaxed feel of Foz da Arelho. The accommodation is wonderful -spacious, comfortable and well equipped......Perfect for a quiet private family holiday without the throng of tourists. Loved the pool and the option to lounge around on days when we wanted to just to chill! Most of our beach days were spent at Foz or nearby Peniche. In Foz, the restaurants are nearby and cheap. We eat out on most nights for an adult party of 4 for approx.€100 per night. There is not a huge variety of restaurants but what are there are very good We will be returning

Foz do Alehro

Stayed at the villa for just under 3 weeks. Communication with Robert was excellent and he promptly answered our questions when required. The accommodation is excellent! The best that we have stayed in. The villa is large, spacious and really well equipped. Mornings and evenings spent on the balconies were a particular favourite. Supermarkets are nearby should you wish to stock up and eat in. Foz do Alehro is wonderful. Quiet, undeveloped and still not sufficiently on the tourist map to ever be overcrowded. Ideal for beach or lazy days by the pool and visits to Lisbon if you want to explore the capital. The local surf school is also worthy of a recommendation should you or family members want to give it a go. Our 2 sons had 5 lessons and loved it. We have never visited Portugal and found the region to be friendly and so cheap when compared to the rest of Europe. Will definitely return! Simply loved our stay and holiday.

Excellent villa in quiet area.

We had a very enjoyable two week stay. The villa is really bright and spacious and entirely suited our needs. The swimming pool is only a few steps from the front door. There are a couple of restaurants and mini-markets less than five minutes walk away. The walk down to the beach only takes 15-20 mins - depending on how hot it is! Foz do Arelho is very quiet but luckily we were travelling with family members so had plenty of in built entertainment!

Great stay in October 2021!

After the 1st week at the Algarve, we spent the 2nd week here in Foz do Arelho. Since we have known the area and Foz very well for years - it was almost like coming home. Also in the villa! We felt “at home” from day one. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. The WiFi connection is very good > suitable for streaming, zoom meetings or a teenager's contact with her friends (smile!). There are restaurants, small supermarkets within walking distance and the end of the lagoon road is only 2.4 KM away. (A nice route for a walk or a morning run.) Nevertheless: For a holiday in Foz you need a car: The place is about 1 hour from Lisbon. And especially if you want to see other beautiful places at the "Silver Coast" or use a large supermarket, for example. Thanks to the owner that everything was great and for the hospitality. We didn't need to contact the agency. We can definitely imagine coming back...

Beautifully presented and spacious villa

We stayed in this gorgeous villa for a family holiday with two parents and two grown-up daughters. The property is very spacious with separate bathroom facilities and sledping areas for every bedroom that allowed everyone plenty of space and privacy, while the TV area and dining table offered room for cozy evenings together. We practically had the pool outside to ourselves and the sea with a lovely beach as well as a supermarket in walking distance. As we didn't quite manage to see all the amazing sights the area had to offer we hope to return and stay in the property again in the future. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, we look forward to returning to Foz do Arelho and the villa soon!

Pertinho da praia da foz do arelho, a 7 min das caldas da rainha, é uma casa com åreas bastantes grandes. A estadia foi boa, apenas a higienização deveria ser melhor , especialmente pelos tempos que vivemos, a casa nao parecia estar desinfectada .A piscina parece um pouco pequena para o numero de moradias a que pertence neste caso 4. A mesa de ping pong esta boa mas não havia bolas para jogar e as raquetes estavam todas em mau estado. No geral foram uma ferias agradåveis pelo ambiente familiar que a casa proporciona. Não fica fora do baralho para próximas ferias.

Schönes Ferienhaus fĂŒr Familien

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im gut ausgestatteten und offen gestalteten Ferienhaus. Es sind alle wichtigen Dinge in KĂŒche (Geschirr, SpĂŒlmaschine, Waschmaschine, ...) und Haus vorhanden bzw. in gutem Zustand. Die Tischtennisplatte und der Zugang zur Tiefgarage befinden sich im Keller. Sandspielzeug, Schirm und Windfang fĂŒr den Standbesuch waren ebenso vorhanden. Internationaler TV-Empfang war angenehm und stabiles WLAN gab es in den meisten Zimmern. Die gemeinsame Nutzung des Pools mit den weiteren Urlaubern der anderen HĂ€user war unproblematisch. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern lief reibungslos, verbindlich und schnell. Ein kleiner Supermarkt liegt wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Zu empfehlen sind einige Restaurants im nahen Umfeld (Tibino und Cocos Beach am Strand). Strand und Familienlagune sind herrlich und auch fĂŒr kleinere Kinder zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefĂŒhlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Little known gem

This house is well set up in the picture perfect village and everything you could need is present in the house. Communication with Robert and the manager locally was easy and prompt. The outside areas are well maintained even in winter. The village has everything you would normally need small supermarkets, restaurants - our favourite was Tibino , an excellent butcher, bank, pharmacy and health centre. The beaches are an easy 10-15 minute walk away and there are bars and restaurants there as well. Don’t miss the board walk along the cliffs to the north of the village. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short because of the corona virus but we will be back!
