Great stay but room for improvement

We had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable and we found the staff were so accommodating. We had a drink at the rooftop terrace, I was cold and the staff offered me a blanket and turned the heaters on which was lovely! The breakfast was also fantastic! The only things we feel were lacking for a 4 star hotel was the drink choice in the room; it would have been nice to have bottled water and hot chocolate, particularly as the bottled water was free when we asked for some. It would have been nice to have a few biscuits available as well. We also found that the towels smelt very musty - as if they had been left damp. The smell was very obvious!

Very spacious and clean rooms, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The only downside is the location, if you're planning to visit the university area, it's not within walking distance. You'll need a car or taxi to get around.

This is a sweet area with very kind people! I wouldn’t call it a hotel because it’s set up in a dormitory style facility. The water in the shower stays lukewarm (no hot/cold adjustment) and there are no robes as pictured.

Highly recommend.

Huge comfortable bed, standard king room was a great size, best of all zero noise outside the room, not a sound. Great choice of breakfast food, all very fesh, reasonable price. Parking on site and a bus stop accross the road takes you into central Cambridge or station.

Parking at the park and ride was only a short walk. Nice modern hotel. Reception, bar and restaurant staff friendly and chatty. Room cleanliness a small opportunity but not to the point that it impacted are stay.
