Very good as usual, room and facilities clean and high spec. Not a lot of entertainment in the area, as expected, but travel into town on the nearby U1/2 bus is very handy and cheap. I just wish the lifts were closer to the rooms I've had :)

Loved the room, staff were very friendly and very responsive! The only reason I didn’t rate 5* is due to the sink being blocked during our stay and the shower leaking through the door to flood the floor. Other than that, good stay I’d stay again in a better room for sure!

We really liked the hotel and the location. Public transport was very nearby, choice of restaurants was good, having a Sainsbury's less than 1 minute walk away was terrific. The kitchen was equipped with the first combo microwave and oven that I've seem, the reception staff were extremely polite and friendly, the bed was wonderful. The missing stars are because our bathroom sink was plugged, the water didn't drain properly, which was unpleasant since gunky bits were coming up from the drain and floating on the surface of the standing water. It drained, but very very very slowly. We reported it the next morning and were told maintenance would fix it but not unitl after 10 am if that was OK. When we came back in the evening, nothing had been done. I went down and complained, and was told it would be fixed soon. Nothing happened. The next morning I complained again. The receptioniist was very apologetic and took notes. When we came back in the evening, the dirty sink was still unfixed. The next morning we made another complaint.The receptionist vowed that this time he would be personally responsible to be sure the blocked drain would be unplugged. When we came home, it had been fixed. We left the following morning, but we had been left with a blocked drain for all three days of our stay. It would have been a small job with a plumber's snake that would have taken 5 minutes to fix the disgusting sink. Too bad! It marred our opinion of what seemed like a very good hotel.

Overall good stay

Overall my stay was good, the hotel is modern and I love the concept and decor. The location is good, a 10 minute drive from the city centre and a 45 minute walk which is what I went for to save money. The room was great for what I wanted and essentials were provided. Some points I would note, the tap in the kitchen had an intermittent drip, the toilet seat was loose and the towels had a musty smell as if they’d been stored for a while before being put out. Very minor things but noticeable. I also found the hotel reception staff to be a bit unapproachable with the exception of the person I spoke to on check out. I tried to access Douce Heights one evening and kept getting conflicting information from both receptions, even the posters at the hotel said different things. In the end I gave up which was a shame as it seemed like a nice perk of the hotel.

很有設計感很美的公寓型飯店，廚房洗碗機洗衣機都有，電視是Samsung的可直接Chromecast，簡直就像是在劍橋的小公寓。飯店樓下走一分鐘就是巴士站，可以搭U1, U1號線去市區，不過這個巴士的路線稍微繞一點就是了。附近就有Sansbury's超市、披薩店，非常方便。 小缺點是沒有方便化妝的地方，浴室光線太暗了。床中間微微凹陷要適應一下。

Very nice place to stay in Cambridge. Not as close to downtown as I was hoping, but that's my fault for not reading the map. Grocery store down the street was super convenient and worked well with the mini kitchen we had. Rooms were not as quiet as they could be - neighbors one night didn't turn off the tv until after 1 am and then we woke up and they were having loud activities of pleasure so..... We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider again if we come back to Cambridge.

Our stay at Turing Locke Cambridge was pleasant overall. The studio was comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced, with a good location within easy walking distance of Sainsbury’s, cafés, and restaurants. Oliver’s on the rooftop is a must-visit — possibly the best pizza we’ve ever had. However, we were surprised by the noticeable wear and tear on the furnishings, given the building’s recent age, and the bed and pillows weren’t as comfortable as we’d hoped. The park-and-ride into Cambridge is also just a short drive away, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.

Great location on outskirts of Cambridge. Excellent sized and equipped rooms, would recommend pizza at rooftop bar. Centre of Cambridge is walkable but is a good 40 - 45 mins away.
